  1. I'd say so. It has a whole land themed around it, a nice build-up to it (the ride is distanced from all the others), nice natural plants, a better theme than TTD (let's theme it after Dragsters! Cause, you know, both go fast, huh?), a nice soundtrack in the station and around the ride (Eye of the Tiger, get it?), and the ride used to have a really nice que (before the attack of the cable). TTD is nice and does have better restrainsts, but its theme is not as good in my eyes. However, theming doesn't make a wild mouse great, and many great hypers do fine without any theme.
  2. ^ Did they ever officially say that? All I remember them saying is that it would open in "Spring," which is a pretty general term. I may be wrong though, and probably am.
  3. Ignore the terrible chain return, it's NCS arrow supports! This is for a small 50^2 park I'm doing (the older screens with the boomerang and the NCS footers are for the showdown). SCR298.BMP The name? Ninja. I hate doing ncs though, funny.
  4. The California Grill is amazing! It's got a good location and a nice observation deck. The food is fantastic too.
  5. NCS Footers, using the pole item. EDIT: I did it by lowering the ground to -10 feet, then lifting the pole 1/4 unit up. I built it there and then zero-clearanced (absolute) and raised the ground. This is for the showdown!.bmp
  6. EDIT: You never see them in the winter. EDIT 2: I meant to hit edit... whoops.
  7. I live in Jersey... I just thought, where do guidos go in the summer? They must migrate back to New York, Staten Island especially.
  8. I just had a genius moment- Skycoaster on a ship. It's like rides on the moon, but with cruises. This thread makes my day better.
  9. A few neat things I made! Some of them are better than others. SCR258.BMP SCR259.BMP SCR260.BMP SCR261.BMP SCR262.BMP
  10. Why wouldn't El Toro be wooden? According to RCCA's website, (which shut down a while ago, so I can't back this up) GASM was prefabricated. Would that make it non-wooden? Not really. This debate has been brought up so many times, and I've never found a legit reason for anyone to back that opinion on El Toro.
  11. How nice, it seems like the ride disengages the chain like real flyers! Is there a tranfer? The buildings also seem pretty great too, I like this addition!
  12. There was talks of selling SFNE's Catapult, also a SkySwat. I believe it was for sale online around 2008 maybe? It was never sold though, along with SFGAdv's Round Up and a few other rides. I don't see a retheme happening though.
  13. That's so cool AJ! There shoudln't be footers on the roof though, the supports should go through the building. Footers go deep into the ground. That'll be real lively with peeps on it and on the ground.
  14. ^Wow, that's nice! It looks very nice with those colors. What ever happened to that parks rides, epecially its drop tower?
  15. ^Is it Grizzly? ^^^Wow, a recreation? That's pretty sweet, I've always wanted to do a Great Adventure one, but maybe if I ever do, I'll try Great Escape (smaller size ).
  16. Woah, okay. I was rushing my park, but fortunately I made progress from it.
  17. This is actually my first merge! It is named Hayabusa, and will have a Japanese theme. Its name means "Peregrine Falcon" in Japanese (hence the diving theme). SCR291.BMP
  18. I have to go to the local indoor waterpark as I NEED TO GO FLOWRIDING! And the Mexican souveniers are always the best.
  19. ^ and the other station was the building that used to be to the right of Space Mountain's entrance. I believe it was removed during the renovation of SM. Here's a few more: At Great Escape, you can see some things from the log flume, like the old Rainbow ride. There's a few other things too, I can't remember anything else though. Next to Nitro's lift at GADV, there's a lot of things: -Log flume boats and rapid ride boats. -Tubes for Hurricane Harbor. -Boats from the old stunt show on the lake. -Old monster truck cars that were on the tracks for the Wiggles Big Red Car ride back when it was Looney Tunes (now that they're rethemeing it to Safari Kids, it's a good thing they saved them!). -A Spongebob statue from the old Spongebob 4d ride. -Runaway Mine Train cars (from the 3rd train, I believe they are also inside of Rolling Thunder). -Removed kiddie rides. -And some more things.
  20. Here you go! I believe this should be accurate.
  21. Some stuff, all ncs.SCR289.BMP Boomerang! SCR288.BMPA spinner and launcher.
  22. What kind of parent doesn't warn the kid to be careful because a food is hot? Not to assume, but if they didn't the kid should sue his parents for a lack of a warning! Or if he ignored his parents, they should sue him. EDIT: yeah though, this is rediculous.
  23. UGH... call me when that's open. EDIT: Oh, and when I had first seen some slides of the Atlantis, I touhg, "wow, I want ot go there." After seeing all of these nice pictures, I'm convinced I NEED to go there. Amazing.
  24. They also share the same sign! Some more: SFNE- the first aid (near the Tomahawk ride) has lots of old maps. Kinda neat to check out. La Ronde- Near Le Boomerang there is the old skyride station, now used for storage. Does anyone know where the other station was/is? SFGADV- From Bizarro I believe you can see the old top to the Super Teepee. You can see it from the brake run, right before the turn in the brake run.
