I went and looked it up for you and it looks like sfmm will be open Friday-Sunday that month except for the 14th of October which is a Monday so plan for this. Also, if you go to horror nights at universal make sure you buy front of the line or the vip package because the lines can be just insane.
I also would like to chime in support for doing both days. I did both last year and thought that knotts put sfmm to shame with all of the extras and extra fun that we had. Tpr quest was worth the trip all by itself. If you can manage it, I would also reccomend a trip to disneyland while you are at it.
Just curious if anyone knows if everland plans on doing anything with eagles fortress or if will just sit and rot for a while. Seems a shame to just let one of the worlds best steel coasters just sit there.
I will have to chime in another vote for ghostrider. You walk up to it and the layout just looks amaing but then you ride it and you can't enjoy it because it just jackhammers the whole way. Would love to see it ride like it did when it was new and was one of the best wood coasters in the world.
Just finished watching the vid and this beast just looks like raw intensity from beginning to end with not dead or dry spots at all. Might need to make a little day trip down there this summer for this one.
Nice to see someone finally do something with that site. It's been a big ugly eyesore for years. Also to anyone interested, they have started to work on the site of the former sahara to transform it into sls las vegas. They have a big banner in front saying coming fall 2014.
