  1. All packed up and ready to go. Just have to get through one more day at work.
  2. Just got done reading my event email and it looks like it will be an awesome weekend. Great job on scoring yolocoaster and superman in place of the closed x2. They more than make up for the loss.
  3. I'm going solo too. Anyone mind if I get in on this?
  4. Count me in for closing down that bar I am staying there too.
  5. Flying there. For just one person, it costs about the same to drive as it does to fly and I hate that boring drive through the desert.
  6. Count me as a member of the three day work week club too.
  7. Tell me about it. That's ten or so minutes of my life I can never get back.
  8. Looking to maybe do haunt this year on Sunday October 20th and was wondering if the crowds have been bad enough in the past to purchase a fright lane pass or if I should save my money? Also, are you allowed to wear glasses on the coasters if you have a strap?
  9. I rode the voyage in early June for holliwood nights and it blew me away with how great it was. I did ride it mostly in the front and did notice that the middle sections of the train are a little on the rough side and it starts to smooth out again towards the back. The waterpark is also by far the best waterpark I have ever been to. Holidayworld would almost be worth the cross country trip just for that. Shame about the timberliners though it would have been nice to have a bit more leg room.
  10. If yoohoo counts a soft drink I had one of those a little while ago. Haven't had one in a while and forgot how good they are.
  11. I would probably hit that beast at least once. It would be worth cracking a rib to say I did it. Would love to see rmc or gci take a shot at building a new version of it.
  12. best steel for me:x2(look at the username) worst steel: Green lantern(currently sits in my second to last steel slot only ahead of vortex at pki) best wood: apocalypse(just really fun all the way to the end looking forward to some power riding during wcb) worst wood: ghostider(so frustrating to me because the layout is great but the ride is so rough it sucks the fun out of it)
  13. That's good to hear. Always nice to save a few bucks where I can.
  14. Dumb question of the day and if it has been mentioned someplace else my apologies, is parking going to be included for morning ert again this year or do we have to pay for it when we get there.
  15. You pick up the tickets the day of the event.
  16. Just scored the knott's hotel on hotwire for 60 a night for both Saturday and Sunday. So if you haven't booked a hotel for the weekend it is available on hotwire right now.
  17. Could be just the excuse I have been looking for to go to Orlando for a few days.
  18. Just to warn you on that Monday Disney will have space mountain, big thunder mountain and the haunted mansion closed at the same time for various reasons.
  19. If you actually see both sides of superman running at opening then take a picture it is quite a rare sight.
  20. I ended up staying at the Radisson suites for last years wcb for a night and I thought that would be a good option also. However, you can't beat the knotts hotel for the sheer convenience of being so close.
  21. Looks like I am also flying solo both days so if any other singles want a riding buddy hit me up with a pm.
  22. Tickets just purchased and I am all set. Only six weeks left to go.
  23. 19 on kraken one summer sunday and twelve on maverick.
  24. Just the thought of having to deal with that on wcb day makes me shudder in fear.
  25. Knotts does offer a line skipping pass for scary farm called fright lane. I think last year it was around 40 bucks or so. Also, if you can swing it the vip option for horror nights is well worth the extra money. It was so nice not to have to make any kind of plan and just go around and do things in any particular order I wanted to. The free food and drinks were also a nice touch and it is the only way to get alcohol during horror nights as they don't have it available anywhere else in the park except for the vip lounge.
