  1. I'm actually surprised imawesome1124 isn't here gloating yet. It was a fun game to watch. Hope Crosby is ok after that hit he took. It took way too long for him to get on the ice after Fleury went to the bench. Seemed like his head wasn't there and he's the last person you'd expect to not be aware.
  2. I don't see the new website yet either. Still get an under construction page. Very interesting design on that coaster.
  3. You had to mention the yellow submarine themed Splash Battle. Now I got The Beatles stuck in my head. Really though, nice report.
  4. ^The Minebuster is definitely the better of the two major woodies at CW. My vote goes to Predator at Darien Lake. I needed multiple chiropractor visits after riding it.
  5. What's with all the fires? Houdini at SFNE, Cedar Point, more than once, and now this? Wait a second, there's a new Intamin being built an hour away...I wonder..lol. Looks pretty bad from the photos, but it seems it looks worse that it was.
  6. Happy New Year Everyone! I'm really looking forward to.. - My first TPR Trip, Road to Cedar Point! - Checking out the new rides in the surrounding areas. (Martin's Fantasy Island, Waldameer, etc.) - And any surprises that may come up!
  7. It definitely looks like an eyesore, but I still think Zamperla went about it the wrong way. The case was still in court. They would have had their say in it. Now it just looks really bad on them.
  8. I have to say the way Zamperla is handling Coney Island, with all the evictions and everything, is extremely disappointing.
  9. ^$5,000 fine? More of an embarrassment than anything.
  10. I definitely would say breaking the 400 foot barrier, and getting one close to 150mph.
  11. Great pics. I laughed at the Carousel of Evolution stuff. I really need to get to the UK.
  12. So many good ones, but Where's Waldo gets my vote.
  13. Nice to see these pics from small parks. Keep em coming.
  14. That was definitely fun. What were the final standings by the way? Nice job JerryKoala.
  15. The third photo is of mountains which there are alot of in Germany where Maurer is based out of.
  16. How about a Maurer Sohne spinning coaster? Edit: You said the ride was not in New York. Did you mean the city or the state? If you meant just the city, than Whirlwind at SeaBreeze might fit. But if not than its wrong.
  17. ^ Speed: No Limits at Oakwood? Edit: Maybe Hurracan (ie Hurricane...RHCP cover) at Belantis? 2nd Edit: How about Euro Mir at Europa Park? Built by Mack, German company. Spinning Coaster could refer to the RHCP cover, or the Spiral Lift for that matter. Which could nominate Euro Sat as well. The theming of the Euro Mir coaster, if you stretch your thinking, sort of looks like skyscrapers, which there are lots of in NYC!
  18. ^Intamin is a swiss company, where they have the Alps! Would all fit with Millennium Force! Edit: B&M is Swiss as well for the record.
  19. ^^How about the New York, New York Coaster in Vegas? Vertical Limit could refer to the height of the ride. Wasn't it the tallest when it was built? Edit: How bout Millennium Force? It was marketed as 5 feet taller than the Statue Of Liberty, and was definitely the tallest coaster in the world when it was built. CP also used to have a coaster called the Cyclone, which could refer to the RHCP cover.
  20. Was the Cyclone possibly the tallest coaster in the world when it was built? Could that refer to the Vertical Limit pic?
  21. ^Coney Island Cyclone!! IMDB says he was born in NYC. Obviously the RHCP cover fits again.
  22. How about Tornado at Adventureland? Jesse Eisenberg played in the movie Adventureland. Obviously the RHCP cover fits. Tornado is also the tallest coaster in the park according to RCDB, so Vertical Limit would fit.
  23. Wait. Does Justin Timberlake possibly refer to Timberliner trains? That could lead me towards Grona Lund in Sweden where they are building a new Gravity Group woodie called Twister with Timberliner trains. Is Sweden a very mountainous area? Edit: What about Shivering Timbers? It seems very cold in the Vertical Limit photo? And the ride is very tall for a woodie. And obviously Timberlake fits.
  24. What about Twister II at Elitch Gardens? The first pic would make sense for a twister. The last 2 are of mountains which make sense as Denver is along the Rocky Mountains.
  25. Jesse Eisenberg played the role of Mark Zuckerberg in the Social Network. I believe we need to search the TPR Facebook page for the links.
