Update Year 54 I've grown close to this area of the park. It's usually where you'll find me. Mini volcano - everybody forgets about it... Leopard features... alot of orange. The other side of Excavation isn't as pretty. Good thing the seats are comfortable for this steep incline! Heading for the sky... Since I've started the commentary I might as well continue! If you tilt your head to the lift it looks like an airtime hill. This just looks plain wrong! PLUNGE. Due to its odd location, Storm never really has a long line. More soon. "When I'm Gone" - Simple Plan

Update Year 54 Welcome to Year 54! No new additions this season as predicted. The park is saving up for their Emerald year! There's all kind of crazy stuff going around about Project: Emerald. Some say it will break the 500 foot mark. Some say it will be the longest in the world. Who knows at this point... Some areas of the park have gotten some new paint for the new season. Zhambi Sidewinder and Storm both look brighter to me this season. Perfection. Hotel Hellvetica: The Ride is still there! How many rides do you see? Delusion never has a full crowd... Hawaiian Swings is technically the oldest ride in the park because it was constructed first. (after Viper and Rip Tide) FlyUira made it another season! Most of the capital this season went towards a re-landscaped entrance area. I think it looks pretty nice. The waterpark wasn't too crowded today so I decided to take a rinse cycle. It's great to float on a tube and watch (and hear) Solar Flare roar over the tophat. More soon.

It looks like SB's trains might have been repainted. They look more red than originally.

Update Year 53 Well Year 53 is quickly coming to a close, partly due to the shortened season. The park wasn't too busy tonight. FlyUira... flying. With the boardwalk's rennovation completely finished, I wonder what will be the next area the park works on. I've always thought the area under Kaena Point Falls could use a new look. The entrance plaza was recently remodeled/reformated so I think this area is safe. Solar Flare... its 20th anniversary is coming up! Still the best-looking coaster in the park, I think. It's always cool to see the sun set from the corner of the park. Baja Blast always displaying itself... No word on Project Emerald. It's unlikely there will be a new attraction next year as the park approaches Year 55. See everybody next season! More soon.

^ I disagree. I go to sites based on their amount content, not on how different it is. If you will have the content to make a site, I say go ahead and do it.

It takes some dedication because it's easy to let a site slide off into defunct-website land. But if you've got the will, anything (within reason) can be reached.

I've always used Windows Movie Maker to compress my videos.

Looks awesome!! Everything's really coming together nicely. I sorta liked the way the buildings in the entrance plaza looked before they were painted... Anybody else agree?

Update Preview Hola! Hay mucho actividad al parque hoy! The street to the upper level of the park is nearing completion! Alot of detail is being put into the buildings! Mas, pronto!

Update Preview Hola amigos! There is alot going on at the park! Testing has begun on the interactive dark ride! The ride will take guests through different time periods of Spain's history. Still no name for it yet! Feel free to suggest some [spanish] names that I could turn into the management! Mas, pronto!

This is the first year in a while where I don't have at least one trip "confirmed". Possibilities: Six Flags St. Louis Six Flags over Georgia Magic Springs Kings Island Who knows what else might pop up...

Haha at the Powerpuff Girls blanket under the train. They actually look pretty cool.

Update Year 53 Going on up... The park was somewhat busy today. I went to the waterpark for the first time in a while. The former logos have been put back up throughout the park. I've heard Hard Rock Cafe might be leaving in the not-so-distant future. The 50-year banners have been removed. No word on what (if anything) will be their replacement. I'm surprised, they've removed nearly all of any references to their 50-year anniversary. Word is that Surf is still on the way out for the massive Project: Emerald for Year 55. Waikiki Whizzer has been a hit with the families. The park's gift shop has been here for nearly fifty years. More soon.

Worst: See long black hair cooked INTO my burger at Perkin's. Waitress: "Oh, do you want another one?"

I think it would have been more feasible (financially) to just retheme Rockin' Rollercoaster to AMERICAN IDOL presents: Paula Abdul - The Ride. Seems like the logical thing to do.
