Update Year 55 Here are some leftover pictures from the park's Emerald season. Year 55 Overview Sideways! The bridge to Hershey Grove. The Hershey chocolate stand. Leopard from the roof of Rainforest Cafe Waikiki Whizzer, center This area of the park could use a new look. The park could use a playground complex, because this doesn't count.

Update Year 55 DOWNLOAD: http://www.coaster101.com/download.htm The last day of the season is always sad... Next year's looking up though! Even if project Emerald is put on hold they still have to add something new or ppople won't return! The park is still bringing in the massive crowds it's almost always had. Even FlyUira has a "line". Yet the park will never be as busy as it was right after Hershey took over. It'll be interesting to see what the park takes out for this rumored "Renewal" project. How will the skyline change? Will we lose any landmarks? Will they keep the struggling Hawaiian theme? I wonder how the locals will accept the change of a new look. Update Year 55 THE YEAR 55 DOWNLOAD WILL BE POSTED TOMORROW I've been out of town for the past few weeks so I've got a huge update! Some folks are saying the park is in some deep crap with this Project Emerald. From what I've heard it's "Turbulence all over again" I've also heard some of the older rides at the park are up for sale including Tantalus. The park could be gearing up for a renewal project that would bring the entire park up-to-date. No word on the total list of rides that will be removed (or refurbished) Apparently Surf is safe for the time being. Which is good because it still draws some of the biggest lines in the park. Stopped by Rainforest Cafe today for a quick lunch. Not too crowded today. The "alleyway" - I wish they'd do something with this area. Zambia Sidewinder More soon! Update Year 55 I can confirm The Volcanic Resort Hotel has been sold to another company. No word on how this will affect the waterpark. This is sure to be an interesting year for Hershey's Hawaiian Escape! Alot of people are saying Excavation might be on its way out... I doubt it. Everything else has been quiet recently. Waikiki Whizzer is doing nicely with the family-audience. Don't forget about Chaos! It hasn't lost a day of operation yet! The park needs more places like this! Required shot. The sun is always shining here! It's a long way down... Surf is still operating! What's happening!?!? More soon. Looks like Year 56 is gonna be the big one.

Update Year 54 The Year 54 season was cut drastically at last minute. (about a month shorter) Maybe they need some time to work on prep for Project Emerald. The waterpark will remain open. We're hearing that Project Emerald MIGHT be delayed until Year 56. Hershey seems to be having a bit of conflict with one of the involved companies. I thought I'd grab some shots of my favorite ride, Solar Flare! I'm leaving for about a month to see some family in California so this will be the last Year 54 update. It always looks great with the resort in the background. It's truly one of the best. Let's not forget about Mt. Hershey Rapids! T.G.I. Fridays is the longest-lasting establishment at Hershey Hawaii! The park has undergone some minor path changes lately. Baja Blast has been down alot lately... anything to do with Project Emerald??? Waikiki Whizzer's station is sorta hidden among the other boardwalk buildings. Bridge over Kaena Point Falls - the museum portion is long gone. SeaStar - another veteran ride - it was almost removed when Hershey bought the park. The Reese's ride - haven't been on it in a long time! Still makes me dizzy! More soon! The Year 55 season will begin on Tuesday. THE YEAR 55 DOWNLOAD IS COMING VERY SOON.

Update Year 54 I have several ride closures to report: - Hershey's Kissing Tower - Hershey Express - Grande Bay Boat Tours are all closed this season. Everybody's saying all these closures have something to do with Project Emerald. That means this is going to be one huge ride. This restaurant might also be closing. All other rides are operating. Chaos has been a hit with the thrill-seekers! I won't be upset if this ride doesn't return - especially if a massive coaster is replacing it! I have no idea why they closed the tower... rehab maybe? More soon.

Nanjing. Spring 2008. SIMS 2 WILL NOT BE USED IN NANJING. One of the main characters has been revealed! The beautiful lady above will play the role of Lynn Chang, opposite of husband Mark Chang in the upcoming RCT3 movie, Nanjing. The two will play a socially odd couple who obsess over U.F.O. sightings. "I had to gain ten pounds for this role," she told us in an interview, "the two of them are very akward but know more about what's going on than anybody else." Nanjing editing is nearing the halfway mark. CD5Productions is currently looking at a March release right now.
