Aloha! Work has officially begun on ZooAmerica! Some animals are already being brought in! The black panthers were released into their exhibit today. This is the facade for the Lion / Tiger show. Check back soon.

Great trip report. Sad to see that emptiness where XLC once stood... edit: Will there be a path running adjacent to Dominator? I think I see one with lights and all but I'm not sure if that's a new path or just an old maintenance path.

^ It looks like it might go in between the drop, the loop, and the cobra roll. I like the new colors. It'll be interesting to see how different the loop will look.

Great trip report! The new area looks great. I'm not sure about some of the hills they've got behind River Battle / the rest of the area but I guess they'll grow in over time. But it'll be good to have a complete loop now.

Hey guys good news - "principal photography" (so-to-speak) for Katrina begins this week! We've also got some people from New Orleans who will be sharing their stories in the film. Shooting will take place in New Orleans as well as along the coast on Interstate 10 stretching from Lousiana all the way to the panhandle of Florida. We're trying to keep the main focus on New Orleans, though. I'd like to thank once again the people who have held their support for this project. I'm hoping you will be pleased with the final outcome. If you know of a forum that would like updates to this film, just drop me a p.m.! - John Stevenson

Aloha! Hershey has released a sleek new logo for the overall resort. I got a special nighttime preview tour of the hotel last night. Lighting is stil being installed. The rep from Nickelodeon assured me the crowd levels will be controlled - you won't be seeing this place too packed. Lots of slides going everywhere. The front of the hotel is still undergoing lighting-related work. Guests will drop their bags off here before heading to the parking lot. Malama pono - Take Care!

I pointed with my middle finger. I touched the lawn mower muffler after my dad used it. I'll try to think of some more stuff.

Maybe it was the noise or the realistic-nature of it but it freaked me out! Looks cool but I wouldn't wanna be stuck in a room with it.

Update Year 1 Construction Hola! Phase I of the park is getting close to being complete. Phase I will operate for one year while the second phase is under construction. The grand opening of the park will be held when Phase II is complete. A Starbucks has already opened for construction workers! Some exterior work is still being completed. The entrance plaza is nearing completion. Rico y Loco is testing. The ride is very fast and intense. Through the trees! Mas, pronto!

It looks like it's gonna be a great ride for the park. I hope it's open for Spring Break! I'm gonna have to decide between this and SeaWorld's new coaster...

Libertyland: I would reopen it, then sell some of the aging rides. Build a water play structure in the nearby parking lot, and debut a multi-pass system that would allow people into other tourist destinations in Memphis.

Update Year 1 Construction Hola amigos! The sign for Alcazar has been installed. Mas, pronto! Sorry for the lackluster update, I'm still recovering from getting my wisdom teeth taken out. Not too fun...

I'm on the meds right now so I'm pretty good. Here's a recap of todays events thanks to Microsoft Paint! I woke up and took a happy pill because I was a little anxious about the I.V. due to a previous incedent. It was great! I got to go to be in the Disney themepark room! There were hats and gifts from Tokyo Disneyland, Disney World, and I think Paris. The lady that put the I.V. was really nice. I go, "is that all". Apparently it didn't work because when I woke up I had a bandaid on my arm. I don't even remember closing my eyes. All I remember then is going home (barely). It took my dad, my mom, and the nurse to get me to the truck. I don't remember the ride home at all. Vicodin is a good thing when used when necessary! It was bad, but not as bad as I thought it would be after hearing mostly horror stories.

IT'S OVER! Now I feel like someone punched the crap out of my face... Apparently the only thing I said after the surgery was that I wanted my ex-girlfriend. Weird... I've eaten a bit of a frosty but I'm drinking alot of water.

30 minutes... I think I'm gonna make a Paint trip report once I feel up to it.
