^ But the concept art only showed one piece of the ride - what seemed to be the larger part of the ride was the badly-drawn track heading to the left (in the first picture). I think the ride could still be impressive.

Nice trip report. It's sad to see Dark Knight. I noticed they had begun to landscape the path leading from the bottom of the building. All that for nothing...

The red doesn't seem to fit here... it's like Dollywood adding a neon pink and yellow coaster to the Wilderness Pass area. The two don't go togehter.

Yeah the color scheme is great! Looks alot better than the old paint, IMO. Hope it doesn't fade too quickly... Great trip report!

Hey guys, I just wanted to thank everybody who participated. I got one of the few 100's in the class!

Just thought I'd add this... I really hope they put the Flitzer indoors. At first I thought it was a joke that Jarmor had inserted into the photos. Guess not...

I think the park looks great. It might look a bit bare right now but as time goes on I think the park will fill in. Also, most parks look worse when they're empty. Take the same photos on a packed summer day and I bet the reaction might be different. Thanks for the trip report, Jarmor!

Update Year 2 Hola! That was a short off-season! Not much was completed due to the Year 2 attraction already complete, but some minor changes were made. It's a bit chilly outside still, so the crowds weren't great, as expected. Personas locas! Hay uno persona solamente en MetroAcelerar... Mas, pronto!

The concept art looks great, I'd love to see this come to be a reality.

Update Year 2 Announcement The dark-ride portion of MetroAcelerar. The launch tunnel. The train station is worked into the surrounding street buildings. This is a very special shot. It will likely never be taken again! (due to the ride's backstage-like location) Mas, pronto!

I say we blame it on: Face it, the original Dark Knight didn't want to become a generic Batman coaster... On a more serious note, I think they could still pull off the Dark Knight theme at another park with some minor theming. It'll be interesting to see what happens with this.

I call Six Flags Great America 2009 Dive Machine.

Aloha! Several trees are being planted in the zoo, so it should provide ample shade during the hot summer months. The volcano offers as a good reference point to the former amusement park. The lake in front of it is what once was Grande Bay Lake. The Grizzlies have arrived! A new refreshmant building has been constructed. GardenRunner Overview of the ride area. How large are the craters? Maybe they're preparing for a lake. Whatever it is, I have full confidence that it'll be great like all of Dollywood's recent additions.
