Obsessive fans can be more irritating than the so-called GP. At least "regular" visitors who make it to a Disney park only every few years or so are likely to be less critical than fans who go every weekend and take note of every "blemish." This is why I gave up on single-park fansites a long time ago.
I'd never heard of Tippy Blue before now. Is my life richer for this knowledge? Possibly. At least I'll know what I'm looking at when I'm at DisneySea.
^The Happy Valley parks are a bit inconsistent. Beijing's looks good on the surface, but its operations are poor. Shenzen is the best of the bunch, based on what I've seen.
It's great that Disney is building unique attractions to make HKD stand out, rather than just another Haunted Mansion or Big Thunder. The park is a very nice Mini Magic Kingdom, but it needs more for guests to do.
I've had both good and bad visits to this park, but I think it's the worst of the Six Flags chain; then again, I have yet to visit La Ronde. Plus, it's been a few years since I last visited SFA. There's been no compelling reason for me to fight the DC traffic to get to the place.
Yes, based on what I've seen so far of Iron Rattler, I wouldn't rate it a "disappointment." I'd say it's one of the more intriguing attractions planned for 2013.
