I've decided to only use Bavarian roller coaster and ride companies. There's still a lot of options with this though. It's going to be a small park, but it still has the thirlls of a larger one. For roller coasters: Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter 320+, Gerstlauer Launch Coaster 540, Gerstlauer Spinning Coaster 380/4, Gerstlauer/Holzbau Wooden Coaster, and Zierer Force Coaster Force - Zero. These all have the smallest possible model of their types, and will all use custom CTRs that look like the cars/trains are wooden to add to my alpine theme.

I don't have any pictures or anything... but here's a list that I made for my park, Rissler Alpine Freizeitpark. Notice that I'm only using amusement parks companies in Bavaria, it's going to be a smaller park, but still has the thrills of a larger park. This is just what I've come up with so far. All of the roller coaster cars are going to be "wooden." I'm using custom CTR's for all of them. The Gerstlauer wooden coaster is in a partnership with another German company. This will be a replica of Mammut but sized down. I'm going to have every roller coaster below 30 m, below a length of 500 m, and below the speed of 75 km/h... I have O.C.D. Haha. Does anyone know if Sunday is a good day to go to Six Flags America? I know that weekdays are usually more calm and Saturdays are probably the busiest days, but what about Sundays?

I was there yesterday... and I was satisfied and disappointed. The past couple of times I've gone to Hersheypark, Storm Runner has been closed for basically the whole day until like two hours before the park closes, and it was again this time. I haven't waited in lines this long for Hersheypark in probably ten years. I rode Fahrenheit when it came out, and waited probably two hours. Yesterday, I waited around an hour or more (the longest wait of the day). The shortest line we encountered was Lightning Racer with a walk-on three times. I've waited around an hour for this one before too, so the short wait surprised me. I had a great day and all, but I was really looking forward to Storm Runner. I haven't ridden it since 2004, and I'd rather go to Kings Dominion or Six Flags America to be honest...

Thanks again for your input guys! I really appreciate this because I seem to always stick to a few certain roller coaster types. I've tried something like Kanonen at Liseberg before, but with the "Hershey's Stormrunner" track, it's too tall of a top hat. Unless there's a custom track style I could use? I really like the small wooden roller coaster idea. Maybe like an out and back running one train of 30 people like Falken at Fårup Sommerland? A kiddie coaster sounds like a good idea. I was thinking something along the lines of a Gerstlauer spinning roller coaster, a spinning wild mouse, or just a regular wild mouse? Any suggestions?

I don't want any huge B&M or Intamin roller coaster. A lot of parks buy SLCs... and I don't think they're all that bad. The RCT3 ones aren't that good though because of the lack of elements. The RCT2 creation of El Condor at Walibi World in the Netherlands put onto RCT3 is off from the real thing. I just want to know about popular roller coaster types in Europe. I've seen Parque de Atracciones de Madrid from the Palacio Real, driven past Disneyland Paris and Parc Astérix, but I've never gotten to experience them. For the Euro-Fighter, will this do: http://www.dasmatze.de/rct/page.php?83? It says that the track is a mix of the mini coaster and wild mouse, so I won't have a problem there with what I was thinking.

Ohh by the way, I'm doing an alpine theme. A Euro-Fighter sounds good, and I saw where you can get those actual cars that look like they're wooden, so that would fit my theme great! Can you do inclined turns on the wild mouse track though? I know you can do loops and twists with the wild mouse track, but you can't with the mini coaster track. I considered a water coaster with themeing, but my only question is how many trains do you think is good enough? By looping, do you mean like a Schwarzkopf?

I'm trying to make a relatively "small" amusement Park on RCT3, and I just wanted some other people's insight on what I should put in my park. My park's name is Rissler Freizeitpark (Rissler Amusement Park). I know I want a wooden roller coaster for sure, but I'm thinking another "major" roller coaster and possibly two smaller ones. I was thinking a SLC, a wild mouse, and I'm not sure on the other one. Any ideas on what I should do?

Alright so I'm making a big jump... but I was just wondering about some trips in the very distant future, but I figured that you already have some destinations in mind for the 2012 and possibly 2013 trip seasons. I've traveled continental Europe already and I'll be going the next two summers as well, but I was wondering if there's a possibility that there would be a Scandinavia or United Kingdom trip in the summer of 2013? Again, I'm sorry for the jump, but this would be the ULTIMATE Senior year trip for me right before college! Thanks for your time!

I used to have the season passes for Virginia residents for probably three years when I was younger. It's three hours away from where I'm at, but it's always a great trip to make. I haven't gone in three years, but I'm hoping to go next week with some friends. The only really "cool" ride experience I can think of is riding Griffon within the first week of it opening. My favorite roller coaster there is still Apollo's Chariot though. This is truly one of the best themed and most beautiful parks on the East Coast and in the United States in my opinion. After going to Europe this summer, I really see how realistic it is.

Mind Eraser at Six Flags America.

Kings Dominion is about two hours away from me, and has always been a good place to spend the day at. I'll be there next Friday to ride Intimidator 305! There's not a whole lot of bad things that I can say about Kings Dominion. After their installment of their new roller coaster, it's hard to know what they'll do next.

This is the closest park to me. I think it has a good variety of rides and roller coasters, but their maintenance is terrible! The last time I went (Spring Break), Batwing opened up around 3:00 p.m. and Joker's Jinx opened around 4:00 p.m. Skull Mountain was also down briefly. We headed straight for Superman as the gates opened, and needless to say, that too was shut down after they told us to get off the ride. I'm anxious to see what roller coaster they're going to get next... but they need better maintenance.
