  1. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at The Magic Kingdom in the middle of March.
  2. Cool, I will get to go on both during the Uk tour.
  3. ^ That looks like a lot of fun! I can't wait to ride it in June.
  4. The Cave 4/10 I try to give movies like this a chance, and I always wonder why I rented it. The movie could have been really good. The ending was very stupid. Oh well.
  5. Has this happened to anyone else? This happened to my friend on Goliath about 4 years ago. Is Goliah more or less intense than Millennium Force at Cedar Point? Milliennium Force is one of my all time fav. I guess I will find out next week, I am going to SFMM for the first time on Wed & Thurs. --Eric J
  6. I love: - the Mind Mender at SFOG - Loch Ness Monster at BGE - Gemini at CP
  7. Hi Guys, Again thanks for all the advise. It sounds like everyone has had good experiences with all the different brands. I looked at all of the brands yesterday at Best Buy. I decided to go with the Cyber-shot Sony DSC-T5 3.0X zoom & got a 1Gig memory stick. I figured a 5.1 mega pixel will work for me just fine. I don't plan on blowing or printing pictures up super big. The camera is very compact. So far I love it. I have friends that have a Canon, Nikon & Sony. They all said similar things like what has been said in this thread, they all love their cameras. Hopefully I will have a lot of luck with this camera. Thanks again for everyone's advice. I appreciate it. --Eric J.
  8. Thanks Robb & Paul- I am going to Best Buy later today, I will definitely check both out.
  9. Hi everyone, I am in the process of looking to purchase my first digital camera. Does anyone have a suggestions? It dosen't have to be super fancy. I am looking for the following things: 1. Medium to small, something that is compact enough that I can keep in a cargo pants/ shorts pocket when visiting theme parks & riding rides. 2. Either a camera that has a lot memory space or a recomendation on a good memory card. 3. Probally just a point and shoot type camera. 4. Camera Pixel info: I am not sure. I don't plan on blowing my pictures up to much. Probally just take standard 4x6 maybe sometimes enlarging a photo to 5X7. 4. If possible I would rather spend under $500.00 for the camera and possible memory card(s). The reason I mentioned the above is because I am going on the TPR UK Trip this June. I wanted to have a a camera that is compact. Also so I can take a lot of pictures for 2 weeks and not have to worry about deleting pictures to make room for more. I figure the memory space should be able to last until I get home. I won't be bringing any type of computer on the trip to save the pictures on. Any suggestions of brands and or make would be appreciated. Thanks, --Eric J.
  10. I love Mission Space. I have been on it a gazillion times. But everytime I go, with all the warnings during the line I still wonder in the back of my mind, could this be the time that MS is going to cause a medical condtion to surface in me that I had no idea about. I get over it and I always love the ride. But I could see how people could get stressed out about the whole expeience. The build up in the preshows can make your heart race. Ok, I agree it's Gary Sinese's fault! -Eric J
  11. I agree, I want a Disneysea in Florida! I have always wanted to go to Disneysea in Japan. The theming looks amazing.
  12. Good tower: Tower Terror at The Disney-MGM Studios Runner up: Acrophobia at Six Flags Over Georgia
  13. I have been to parks alone many times. It is just easier being able to do what you want, when you want. I do enjoy going with people. But when your're with a group, you wait a lot, because nobody ever has to go to the bathroom at the same etime or everyone gets a snack or drink at different times. It is a lot of waiting around. In college, after my classes sometimes I whould head over to Busch Gardens Africa in the off season and be able to hit all the coasters each twice in about an hour and a half. One time I did a marathon alone trip. It was when there was a Men In Black: Alien Attack passholders preivew early in the morning at Universal Studios Florida a few years ago. I got up super early, drove to Orlando (about a 90 minute drive), went on Men In Black: Alien Attack & Back To The Future: The Ride before the rest of the park opened to everyone else. I then walked over to Islands of Adventure right when they opened, rode Hulk, Amazing Adventures of Spiderman, Dr. Doom's Fear Fall, Popeye's, Ripsaw Falls, J.P. River Adventure, Dueling Dragons (both Fire & Ice). I then headed over to The Disney-MGM Studios rode The Tower Of Terror, Rock and Rollercoaster & Muppet Vission 4D. Epcot was up next, I hit Test Track & Spaceship Earth (Mission Space & Soarin' weren't there yet). jumped on the monorail and went to the Magic Kingdom and it was way to crowded, so the only thing I hit was Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Space Mountain had a super long line. So I left after about an hour. The last place I stopped at was Sea World Orlando and hit Kraken & Journey To Atlantis. I got home around 11:30pm. To say the least I was super TIRED from that experience, but it was almost like a challenge, to see if I could really go to that many parks in one day. It also helped at the time I had a pass to all the Florida parks. Going alone I don't know that any of my friends would want to do a trip like this, there would be a lot of complaining. -Eric J.
  14. Madonna will be at Wembley Arena: Aug. 1st, 3rd, 9th, 10th, 12th, 13th & 15th And Robbie Williams will be there in Sept. -I wish Robbie Williams would perform over here someday and become half as popular here in the US as he is everywhere else. He rocks!
  15. Seems like Madonna is breaking lots of records, selling out most of all her dates so far. Most cities have added a second date, including Miami. In some cases 3 & 4 in NY city. In Paris she has 4 sold out shows and in London she has 7 shows! Seems like the record high cost of tickets haven't been pushing people away. I got my tickets for the Miami show through the fanclub pre-sale last week. Again I am a die hard Madonna fan and she puts on amazing shows, but I cannot believe the prices this time. Her concerts are always very expensive but worth it. The ticket prices range from $55.00-$350.00! plus a huge service fee. Our service fees were almost $30.00 alone! Last tour (2004) my partner and I had a fantastic time we got to see her twice in Ft. Lauderdale and twice in Miami. We got the middle price seats and they were fine. We loved seeing it many times. This time we did get the most expencive seats, but we are only going to see her once. I just can't believe that the prices went up $50 since her last tour in 2004. Does that mean when she tours next time the prices are going to be $400? I am glad some of my friends were able to get the cheap seats on the fourth level but they still costed $98.00! I guess as of right now, there are only a select group of entertainers that can charge that much (Madonna, Paul MaCartny, U2, The Rolling Stones, etc.) Madonna shows are always more than your typical rock show, it it usually very theatrical and amazing. I think it is totally worth it if you have never seen her live. It is just frustrating when you are a big fan and you do go and try to see every tour and the prices keeping going through the roof!! Ok done with my vent. I can now move on and look forward to The Confessions World Tour 2006 this summer! Which I am sure will be an amazing show. -Eric J.
  16. Robb & Elissa, does this Spain trip still make you guys want to do a possible short TPR Spain trip next summer?
  17. Inside Man 8/10 A fun thriller, I enjoyed it a lot. Lots of twists.
  18. Is this common when the park is not busy? Do they give some type of refund/coupon for a future visit? I am planning on going to Magic Mountain on the original Tatsu Media Day on April 27th. I am comming from Tampa Bay, FL, so if they closed early it would toatally suck.
  19. Hello all- I am flying out from Tampa Bay, FL for the Tatsu Media event in a few weeks and wanted to know what everone's thoughts were for a good plan of attack to get all the "operating" coaster credits under my belt in one day. Assuming I have ridden Tatsu once and it is 10:00am and the park has just opened to the general public. I would love to go for a few days but I fly home the very next morning. So can I ride all of the operating coasters before the park closes at 6:00pm? Help! Any info is greatly appreciated, Eric J.
  20. Just wanted to let anyone that was a Madonna fan know that the dates for her new world tour were announced today! "The Confessions Tour" will kick off in LA in the end of May and travel throughout the US, one stop in Canada, and throughout Europe and Japan. Since I live in Florida I am planning on seeing her at the American Airlines Arena in Miami on Sat. July 22nd. If you have never been to a Madonna show, it is a must! I got to see her in 2004 on The Re-invention Tour and in 2001 on the Drowned World Tour. They were both very different shows and a lot of fun! This show is suppose to re-create famous dance club scenes from around the world including the famous Studio 54! I am sure it will be full of high energy, be provocative and entertaining to say the least. Tickets go on sale Mon. April 10th to the general public. If you want more info you can check out the offical tour website: www.confessionstour.com -Eric J.
