Dotrobot: Again, I still loves me some criticism, and thanks! PsiRockin': Thanks! Yeah, this park is really fun to build in. Rudie: Thanks! I aways kinda felt it's more of an inspiration of Cedar Point, and several rides from other parks. Bob!: Yeah, the park is mostly NCS, with a few exceptions. Thanks! It's not vary often that I would update a park only a few days after another update, but today is special... a year ago today I started the original thread for this park at the old Atari site. So Happy 1st Birthday Commerson's Island! To celebrate, here are two pics of the progress of the Hotel's water park's progress. A small pool that simulates being in the ocean, but you're not! It's actually a small pool inches above the sea level, that's heated. The more normal pool area has a wave pool, lazy river, and awesome slide. That's all for now, more latter. I hope you like it! And you better have some gifts for Commerson, or you're not invited to the party

120$? You guys do know how small it is, right? I would say 40$-60$. Amazing model, can't wait for it to come out! -

Doesn't that make it impossible for more guests to enter? I've tried that specific method before, and it didn't work for me -

I think I might be able to fix the land glitch. Great coaster, defiantly looks like a Dinn; and great job so far on the station! And Coupon's ride is great too. I like this park, keep up the good work! -
Well, another long time-no see, but I'm back, FROM THE FUTURE! I always welcome criticism, but can you be a little more specific? like what areas you think could use some work? Then I can look into fixing it! *or ignore you completely* James: Thanks! Braztaz: Thanks also! Although I don't think the "cramped" feeling of this park will ever go away, because of what it is. CC9: Stop bragging Thanks (CC9 has 1% of this park, for helping me with Dive Bomber's lift) Now onto the park, I gave the park's Boardwalk area a huge refurb, making it actually have a Board Walk type feel First off, Cyclone's station got some small changes, along with a small Pretzel shop. A new coaster! The park's only Hybrid coaster, made by Gravity Group, is designed for kids, and also a nice view. Also in the upper part of this pic is one of the park's new park wide wait-time boards. Last, this pic shows multiple changes, including Hurricane's new station, a new hot dog restaurant (on top of the bumper cars), a new frog hopper, games, and an Ice Cream shop. Also, I decided to get rid of two very unrealistic coasters... Currently a small garden is it their place. And, that's all for this update! Hope you liked it! Criticism is welcomed!

^ You should be, you're great with the game! I always love looking at user's older parks, it's fun seeing how their game playing skills evolve over time. And these are actually quite nice! -

Burn it This was the single most fun I've ever had building a coaster. -
Truly awesome update, Mike! I really like all the different styles in the area, you blended them in together really well! Along with the coaster's layout pic, could you show the building? Kinda hard to see where the coaster is. Also, I would change the land in the lake to something besides grass, it brightens it up quite a bid. Keep up the great work, I can't wait to see more!

Awesome job! Really adds another level of realism to the park. Some pyrotechnic testing going on today at Rockin' America's new stadium, looks like there's some problems -

^^ Quite a nice, well thought out story too. Like the coaster, tad bit over-supported, but still great! What's with the random pile of dirt in the center? -
I'm not too sad about GASM's leaving. It was a good coaster, but far more rough than the other Arrows I've been on. Although I think another park should have gotten Chang, I'm glad that Six Flags saved it from Kentucky, and can't wait to ride it next time I go back there. Getting rid of their fire brigade... well, that's not the best idea. Could save them some money in the short run... but when something bad happens, they lose much more.

Top / Best Amusement Park (s)
Kraken & Manta replied to bodombeast's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
1: Busch Gardens Williamsburg The most beautiful, most thrilling, clean, and nice people. Sad BBW is gone, really takes away from the park, but she's still my favorite. 2: Busch Gardens Tampa Great animals, awesome coasters, nice people. Kumba's recent restoration worked great, made it look and feel new. The only thing bad about the park is Gwazi's PTC trains. 3: SeaWorld Orlando I like fishys! Very nice park, beautiful, awesome coasters (Kraken&Manta), and great shows. Nothing I really dislike about the park. 4: Dollywood Beautiful, clean, the nicest people, awesome water rides, Thunderhead, great shows, Thunderhead, great coasters (Thunderhead), zip lines, and Thunderhead. Only thing I don't like is you have to climb a mountain to get to Slidewinder. 5: Islands of Adventure Harry Potter is awesome... Jurassic Park is great too, besides them, nothing else really that great to me. 6: Six Flags Great Adventure Well... it has Nitro and Toro... besides that there's some okay rides. It kinda lacks in cleanness and nice people. 7: Six Flags over Georgia Much nicer people than SFGAdv, and cleaner (With the exception of Monster Mansion, which is horribly moldy). Goliath is the only really good coaster, Scorcher is fun too, everything else is okay. -
Adventure Beach [RCT2]

CC9: Thanks! Thanks! You should thank Dmax! Djbrcace: Thanks! Mike: Thanks! braztaz: Thanks! Well, now that the park is becoming larger, and adding more rides every few years, there now will be two or three years in each update, with one main year... In the year... 1980 A horrible disaster happened at the park, the park's car ride caught fire! A majority of the ride was destroyed by the fire, and part of the queue of the nearby chair wing was also burned. Luckily, Storm was spared from the fire being only 20 feet from the flames. The coaster was closed for inspections. 1981 A year after the large fire, all of the track of the car ride was removed, along with it's station. Chair wing was also put into storage for a latter use or to try and sell it. The site of the fire was cleared of ash, Storm reopened, and the site has been mostly untouched... 1982 For this year, the park added a new area! Home to a Schwarzkopf Enterprise, small restaurant, and a huge Curtis D. Summers woodie! First, the restaurant has both outdoor and indoor eating with yummy food Next up, the Enterprise, Tornado. Along with a small lake. Now for some wood! Hurricane is the tallest coaster in the park, 120ft, and one of the most thrilling! The turn-around, Some air time hills in the supports of the lift, The maintenance building, where the coaster trains go to take naps, Last is the station building, As of the end of 1982, nothing changed from the car ride's site... just a pile of dirt... That's all for this update, I hope you liked it! -
Rockin' America [RCT2]

Dmax: Thanks, that was origonally in the center of the path like the others, but than I decided it didn't look good... so I had some fun RCT2Day: Thanks, the guitars are both made completely out of CS, and take a while to get right, the blue one took 5 tries to get right. Mike: There is a ton of room in the park, so it is possible CC81: You have no proof DarkStitch: Thanks! Finally someone noticed that So sorry for the long time without any updates from me, a combination of Florida thunderstorms, school, Harry Potter, No Limits, and tacos stopped me from playing the game much. Nether the less, I finished First off, London took up a lot more space than I thought it would (which is a good thing) so no other place is on the East side of main street. London has one of the two stadiums that will have a night time water fountain and fire work show, synced to music, awesome music. The underwater platform will rise up so it is right below the water's surface before the show starts. New Orleans is also finished, This building houses a very well theme flat ride, Hurricane, which makes you feel like your in a hurricane! There are water, wind, and noise affects to complement the ride. Inside, It was the first thing built! The main part of New Orleans is these buildings, it looks like there is 5 buildings, but really there is only 2. Inside there is a large club where it's always 5 o'clock! The other building, the one with the water fall is where the Mardi Gras Parade stuff is stored, than at show time, the water fall is stopped, and the platform comes up for a road. Also, for kids there is a small water flume ride with Crocodile shaped boats, Crocodile Rock River, Last: ~"Deep down Louisiana close to New Orleans, Way back up in the woods among the evergreens. There stood a log cabin made of earth and wood, Where lived a country boy named Johnny B. Goode." Here's an over view of the whole park, What's this? TRACK! Hint: two of these coasters aren't painted yet. I hope you like this update! Next up is Disco -

Mike, I love it! Can't wait to see the rest. More playing around with NL... it sticks I can't save it... Over view, I wonder if it's twisty enough?
