I watched the POV in question and It was torture. The guy talked way to much... if I was riding next to him I would said STFU. He ruined everything that was coming and proceeded to explain why he had a camera when no one even asked him to. Just a self-fulfilled guy out to make himself seem cool because she got special permission and knows the name of every team member. Anyway... Lesson learned wait for the TPR stamp of approval and experienced/quality videos. GO TPR Anyway Verbolten looks amazing. I want to go to Busch Gardens soooooo bad!

awesome pictures. Is that all the covering that they will place over the path. This ride packs some serious OMFG speed over hills surely to throw riders up into their restraint like El Toro does over rolling thunder.... This could end up being a ride notorius for projectile cell phones and other miscellaneous unsecured items. Even in that first test video we saw something fly off the train. This is the ride of 2012 IMO -

yeah it must be the insurance rates. They are opening up a new casino down here, Margaritaville on May 22nd. Its a big deal down here... I just had just an idea in my mind that a theme park is definitely needed here. Could be a good venture to partner up with one of the Casinos as a resort or such. I'm just spoiled having been from the D.C. area (east coast in general) as I was able to get to loads of parks with a short drive and come back the same day. I can't do that anymore here and requires alot of more advance planning. Sucks especially on a year like this one with so many rides opening. Then I drive over to NOLA and see that sad sight. I was wondering as Texas usually gets hit with Hurricanes as well yet the Galveston Pier is happening. You will not find me driving 8 hours to get to any theme park so Orlando would still be a flight... I find orlando to just be expensive in terms of planning a trip, transportation from Airport, high park tickets. Only thing is I know I will get my money's worth. Like I said just takes more advance planning. Just wish it was like it was when in D.C. Well hopefully the coast will realize that needs a amusement park and will work out some kind of deal to develop incentives for such a start up. Also We have a waterpark called Gulf Islands Water Park so its got to be possible to get a theme park. -

From what I have seen, a pier would have to be constructed but there is also plenty of land that has yet to have been developed just open land either right on the coast or bit inland. Basically the land is here. -

I don't think every park would end up like HRP. I think even something on the scale of Galveston Pleasure Pier would be recieved well here. I've read things about a MGM theme park for Mississippi that didn't happen. MGM Theme Park but that was north misissippi... which is 6 hours away. Sigh -

I am dying down here. I just moved here from Washington D.C. there no theme park relatively close. Louisiana and Alabama are on either side but neither have theme parks within reason. Does anyone or has anyone heard of any developments to build a park down here? (Besides SFNO attempts). With Biloxi being such a huge market for Casinos and beach goers and great weather I am surprised that nothing has been planned. -
There is so much potential for SFA. ^I too wished Iron Wolf was placed in the old two face spot. In my opinion would've been a better spot. A spash battle or so would've went well in the pirate themed skull island area easily and the mountain could've still been a focal point. To me Apocalypse obstructs the view of the mountain and all the detail they have done to it. The only good view you get of the mountain is if coming from the Olde Boston section of the park. It coming up from Roar the tangle of steel blocks the mountain. However, I am sure I will get used to it just as I got used to Batwing being way out yonder lol.

^I told you the park is doing Great! The waterfalll on shipwreck was working last year. I think the are behind roar is where they are bringing in equipment, haul their junk to and from, and store things for the construction. I think they will clean up the area once they are finished with Apocalypse.
