  1. The coaster looks great...and Happy Birthday! [*]Noticed that one the home page btw
  2. No one noticed the little hint I dropped in the press release...after reading this go back and look at the press release and you will see the hint I dropped. Carlsbad Gardens is proud to announce the construction of its newest roller coaster, Project Theme. This Intamin Mega-Lite roller coaster is the first of its kind in the US and for only being 95 feet tall it packs quite a punch. Enter the Project Theme Theming Contest! Since I have not the slightest clue how to theme this ride...I've decided to make it a contest to see who can come up with the best theme for the Mega-Lite. Here are the finished ride screens. SCR49.BMP Here is the finished Mega-Lite coaster in all its amazing glory. SCR50.BMP The ride's best view. SCR51.BMP Anyone have a theme idea yet??? SCR52.BMP The first drop and turn just like all Mega-Lites. SCR53.BMP The ride is located in the Frontier Adventure section of the park. Thats all for now...please help me come up with a theme for this amazing ride!
  3. Hello everyone! I just recived an announcement from Carlsbad Gardens! Hmmm wonder what it could be......
  4. HELP!!! Guests are getting stuck in this one spot in front of Redwood Runner! They just walk back and forth but will not go anywhere else...they check the map...and they still get lost!!!!! HELP!!! SCR42.BMP See the mass of people...they're stuck...I deleted the plaza but the problem presisted...Please Help!
  5. Sorry I wasn't able to post anything yesterday. It was my B-Day and I was at Universal Studios Holllywood the whole day. King Kong 360 3-D was epic!!
  6. I'd post a music video of it on youtube with a link to the download to make it more popular! Even though I know next to nothing about NL this seems to be one of the best I've ever seen! Great Work!
  7. Hello everyone! Redwood Runner's Media Day has arrived and every one is anxious to ride the park's second largest investment, the first being the park's GCI Woodie call Whirlwind Express. Media Day Photos: SCR42.BMP Redwood Runner's lodge inspired station. Note the cleverly hiiden bathrooms. SCR43.BMP The other new attraction: Redwood Golf SCR44.BMP Redwood Runner's first drop, airtime hill, helixes, and drops. SCR45.BMP There are actually 3-4 different type of trees in this forest. SCR46.BMP The second chain followed by Redwood Runner's signature move: The Vortex SCR47.BMP The vortex move followed by another airtime hill and the brakes. SCR48.BMP An overview of Redwood Runner's layout. Thats it for now! Enjoy the photos!
  8. The plans found on Scremscape shown 3 launch zones throught the ride: One in the station, Another near the begining of the course. And one more on the return to the station. I've also heard this is from Intamin so...maybe a rocket coaster/wingrider hybrid?
  9. Hey Guys! I have some exciting news for all of you Carlsbad Gardens Fans! I was able to get ahold of the press release for the newest attraction in the Old America section of the park! They also included the picture of the parts I took: SCR41.BMP Can't wait to see how this turns out.
  10. I love the yellow station. Brings a little cheery brightness to the guests Arrow suspended? If so, I APPROVE! This area of the park is called Old America so...it focuses on older style rides...which means...you're right!
  11. Its time! Great American Eagel's Media Day has arrived! The ride has been very well recieved by Theme Park Sites. The day kicked off with the first ride auction and then season pass holders had a chance to try this creature out! The day ended with a special night time ERT session for Theme Park Review Members. TPR seemed to enjoy this coaster and they approved of the new more comfortable train design with padded seats. Media Day Photos: SCR36.BMP Guests love this new ride! SCR37.BMP The high capacity of this ride allowed the wait to be under two hours the whole day! Note the new resturaunt called "The Big A Cafe". SCR38.BMP Another full load of happy riders...hmmmm...do I spy Robb in the front? SCR39.BMP Mine Chute got some new theming around the ride as part of GAE's opening. SCR40.BMP Corkscrew Gardens was very popular with guests. SCR41.BMP Hey! Look at this! The entire day we've focused on Great American Eagel, we didn't notice that they were moving in trees and..........coaster track! This just gets better and better!
  12. Hmmmm...I'd have to guess an Intamin Rocket Coasters but you already have one... Maybe a LIM launched from Intamin i.e. California Screamin'
  13. I'm actually working on a V-Drop Coaster for Carlsbad Gardens...so you can check it out there in a day or two.
  14. Too bad you don't have any pictures of the Dementors in the finale section...those would have been some cool pics.
  15. Thanks! But how are the corkscrew supports? They were the most realistic ones I could make without CS.
  16. Hello everyone! The Carlsbad Gardens Team sent me some pre opening photos of The Great American Eagel since Media Day is around the corner. They did tell me they were allowed to use "Great American" in the ride title as part of a previous deal with Six Flags to acquire ride plans for GASM. Enough small talk! On to the photos! SCR29.BMP Ladies and Gentleman, I present to you...The Great American Eagel. SCR30.BMP Great American Eagel's Station was inspired by Viper's Station. SCR31.BMP My personal favorite part of the ride: Corkscrew Gardens SCR32.BMP The turn around followed by an airtime producing double-up. SCR33.BMP Double-down followed by the Corkscrews and a helix. SCR34.BMP Another view of Corkscrew Gardens Stay Tuned for Great American Eagel's Media Day Photos!
  17. With a Die Hard Skyscraper Theme? Hmmm...I'd have to go with a 200ft plus Vertical Drop Coaster...that sounds like a win to me. The first part could be drops and the second part twisting through the city. The Lift could go through a skyscraper too! Hmmm...I'd make it a Mobius Dueling Coaster too. (Means one contiuous coaster with two stations i.e. Racer at Kennywood)
  18. I am shocked at how good this park is. Honestly I haven't seen one that could top this!
  19. Hey guys! I managed to get ahold of the press release early for Carlsbad Garden's new coaster: The Great American Eagel They even included a picture of the pieces from the air! SCR35.BMP Hmmmm...it looks like its also going to have a helix. Stay tuned for Media Day tomorrow!
  20. Time For A BIG Update! SCR23.BMP Mineshaft 13, the park's Intamin Woodie. Due to poor location and noise complaints, the ride may be removed. What do you guys think? SCR24.BMP Mine Chute, the park's MACK Log Flume. SCR25.BMP Another view of Mine Chute. SCR26.BMP The park's Midway, which is still under construction and lacking a major attraction. SCR27.BMP The park so far. As you can tell over on the right, I have started to place trees and more scenery. Hey wait a sec...what's that over on the left side? SCR28.BMP Hmmmm...it looks like they've begun construction of something new...but what could it possibly be??? I leave you with that Teaser. Stay tuned for the press release tommorow.
  21. Check Back Later Today for a new Update. This update was previously delayed due to a Sea World Trip.
  22. Update Time! Once again, thank you for all of your input on this park. SCR15.BMP The first of two food courts, along with a crooked house, ferris wheel and in the bottom left hand corner...bathrooms! With extra scenery! SCR16.BMP The second of two food courts, along with an Enterprise, and Disaster Mine: The Ride which is a motion simulator themed to an escape from a mineshaft cave-in. SCR17.BMP Another view of Flash Flood: A Survival Adventure, when it was still called Ocean Lake Rapids. SCR18.BMP The kiddie coaster: Whirlwind Jr, along with the Gifts and Things Shop and The Adventure Ship. In the right hand corner is the splash boats which are called Triple Drop Falls. SCR19.BMP Triple Drop Falls (Note, there is a tiny drop before the two large drops) SCR20.BMP Mine Exploration, themed to a company giving tours of an abandoned mine. At the top is the Intamin Woodie, Mineshaft 13, and Miner's Dodgems. SCR21.BMP More pics of TNT. The top building contains the mine darkride portion. after they exit, they go up the lift to the top of the mine where they are launched into a course filled with twists and turns. The bottom building contains an upward helix. SCR22.BMP TNT from the entrance. This building contains the ride's final inversion, a barrel roll! Hope you enjoyed this awesome update! I may post one tomorrow or Friday depending on how much build time I get in. Stay Tuned!
  23. Thanks all of you for supporting me! I'm sorry that I had to delay the update, by it will be up this afternoon or evening. I changed the name to Flash Flood: A Survival Adventure, but the sign just says Flash Flood. Thanks for the name idea, I just kinda hit a blank when it came to naming the rapids. I tried to make the drop twisty, but the coaster was too tall and it looked stupid with the curves. Thank you all for the tips! The update will arrive soon!
