That's not really a fair criticism. It was three brand new coaster experiences to the park. YOLOCoaster's marketing was much more of a stretch than that campaign. Plus, little did we know at the time, but there was a whole renovation of the Superman tower planned that completely made it relevant again. They did a great job with it.

To me it's perfectly fine for a coaster to be fun. I love rides with major forces, but that doesn't mean they have to all be that way... Or else. This ride looks great!!!

There is some serious cost cutting/cutting corners going on within the chain and it's going to hurt them long term if they don't get someone in there to fix things. I feel like we're back in 2002 again.

There are rumors of some sort of water themed flat ride from Mack.

A third train just for spare parts sounds like a waste of money to me. I mean, does Xcelerator have an extra train?

^ Yeah I would imagine the publicity of restoring one of the most iconic coasters ever built would be too much to pass up. Though I also agree that the way SFMM does things is sometimes beyond off putting.

SFMM mocking aside for a moment, after riding SFDK Superman this past week and now Full Throttle, I can now declare my new fanboyism for all things Premier Rides. They're new gen rides are weird, funky and the most fun things I've come across in a while.

I'll take the Auqa Splash and S&S Scream Swings, which would fit nicely in that area.

I know they wanted to get the ride open and I appreciate that. But I hope they finish it during the slow season and don't leave it this way. I know it's SFMM, but I see no benefit in its current set up.

Reminds me a lot of Thunderhead, which is still in my top 10 wood coasters. Can't wait to ride it!

I agree with this. Also, anyone here that's visits SFMM on a regular basis is also part of the demographic of the park. Whether you like it or not. lol

Do I like SFMM? YES. I really like the coaster collection. Do I wish the park had better operations? Absolutely.

^well it's a small space with very low capacity, so if no one wants to ride it but me I'm perfectly fine with that. Edit: The Yolo area looks great!

Nope. I enjoy it as well. This Intamin isn't for everyone though.

From the announcement day, I've always felt like Full Throttle is SFMM's version of Xcelerator /Kingda Ka /TTD... on a tight budget.

I don't think coasters come anymore compact than this one. Hope that leads to some amazing forces.

And thank God for those great coasters, because without them there are maybe 2 of their parks I would visit. To their credit though, there are great coasters within the chain. I think that may be the most frustrating part. The potential is there to have both great coasters and a great experience. But they fail with the latter.
