  1. Shooting star DOES look awesome. I hope nothing bad happens to it... great park so far, I'm loving it!
  2. Well yeah, just this might just be what they're ending up doing. As mentioned earlier, it's mostly of tourism and bragging rights. I'd rather them find something for the better, too, but I'm just going with what I think....
  3. Quick little update before the 315ft Giga Coaster's layout is realeased. "Hajrá" is the brand new roller coaster coming to Millennium Palms next season! "Hajrá" is part of the battle cry ("Huj, Huj, Hajrá!!") that the Hungarian conquerers in the middle ages screamed before they went into battle. Translated into English, it means "Faster! Faster!". The massive coaster is located in an extension of the "Medieval Thrills" section. I focused less on the theming and landscaping of the actual coaster, but more so on the actual section. Here's a preview. (Yep, I'm working on land...hope it turns out good...) Comments are appreciated! SCR236.BMP Part of the section, with the ride's exit path visible going into the tunnel.
  4. Well, I think it should be a roller coaster of any type, because I wouldn't want Six Flags beating Cedar Point at most roller coasters in a theme park...
  5. Eh. It does. A little. I got a season pass to Kings Dominion this year after not going for five years. I was extremely excited and could barely sleep, and by the time I left I was satisfied completely. Then I got the desire to go about a month later. It's kind of on/off for me.
  6. Most people don't know about the trims and the false advertising. He was being sarcastic. Well that makes much more sense then! Still, I think my post proves a point that it's not because people are scared of blacking out or whatever.
  7. Most people don't know about the trims and the false advertising. It bugs me that Millennium Force still has an hour-two hour waits, but I have to remember the duration is double of i305's duration. People still want to ride this, without a doubt. It's just that it speeds through so many riders per hour. there's not enough time to get a good line going. When I went a while ago, there was no line at all and was a walk on. Then, they closed it for about an hour due to thunderstorms. By the time it opened again, a line for it had stretched all the way passed Flight of Fear... I don't know really, I seem to just be rambling...
  8. Yes, some ribs place at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Have you ever waited for a ride for over two hours?
  9. I don't have much experience (or knowledge of any sort ) of side friction coasters, but I'll have to say this looks pretty good. The station building is neat as well. Nice job!
  10. Things are changing at Millennium Palms... SCR211.BMP Yikes- Dungeon Disaster has been removed for the park's 26th year of operation! SCR212.BMP But are those some intamin tracks I see? Looks like something big is happening at Millennium Palms in the near future...
  11. I think the back is the better seat on i305. I mean, on the first drop, you fly out of your seat when it goes over the hill. At least for me, I stay out of my seat until we go into the turn. It's awesome!
  12. This park is simply amazing. It's just amazing what people can do with RCT2! Like other people, my only negative about this is the building right in the middle of everything. But so many positives make up for that negative, so whatever Great job!
  13. Wow! GREAT job! Those buildings are excellent, plus those rides... I would want to ride those so badly.. Looking for more updates!
  14. Don't worry, I fixed the angry guests problem, but I have another question... I've been working on the same park for weeks now, and I just found the pack of custom B&M supports that I really want to use to fix all my rides. But the supports aren't part of the selected scenery that I used for the scenario. I remember hearing about some program that I could replace scenery with, but I can't remember what it is... Anyone know what I'm talking about? Or is there any other way to replace scenery without using a program?
  15. ALL THE ROLLER COASTERS: (updates) SCR167.BMP "SkyDive" got new supports on it's 190ft airtime hill! SCR206.BMP "Dreamclaw" is the intimidating red 215ft B&M Hyper in the back of the park! SCR165.BMP Here is the ORIGINAL "Taberna Run". For three years it was themed to a western-criminal chase. But park officials felt that it stuck out like a sore thumb in the "Mystical Forest" section, and that it took away from the park's natural beauty, it was transformed... SCR207.BMP into this! It now speeds you through the forests of "Millennium Palms". It still kept it's name of "Taberna Run"...so only Millennium Palms experts can decipher what the name REALLY means. (Also, some western-theming is still visible in the queue) Which version did YOU like better? Western or Forest? SCR146.BMP The cobra roll, diving loop, zero-g roll, and corkscrews of "King's Throne". SCR41.BMP "King's Throne"'s 125ft lift hill and 95ft drop that wraps around a castle. SCR203.BMP This is "Timeline", the flying roller coaster that speeds you through our planet's timeline of the ancient ages, then splashing you back into reality for the finish. (Located in Twistory) SCR202.BMP "Space Station": Mini Roller Coaster located in Outer Atmosphere. SCR208.BMP "Dungeon Disaster": Junior Roller Coaster located in "Medieval Thrill". SCR209.BMP "Silvia"- wooden roller coaster located in "The Mystical Forest".
  16. COMPLETE PARK MAP: (pictures in next post) Here is the complete map. Direct your attention to the area outlined in red. This section is called "Main Street"- and if you're looking for any section, just walk along Main Street and you'll be sure to find it. It includes many, many flat rides and one 215ft tall B&M Hyper, called "Dreamclaw". The area outlined in purple is Twistory, which mixes events all over time and twists them together into one fun area! It contains a water ride, a flying coaster called "Timeline", and a magic carpet ride. Area outlined in brown is "Medieval Thrill", themed to a medieval village. It contains two roller coasters: A B&M Inverted called "King's Throne", a Drop Tower, a Junior Roller Coaster "Dungeon Disaster", a rapids ride, and many other flat rides. Area outlined is blue is "Outer Atmosphere", a section themed to the future (with space travel and much more!) It contains two coasters: "SkyDive", a 250ft vertical drop coaster, "Space Station", a 90ft mini-coaster, and extra flat rides. Area outlined in black is "The Mystical Forest". It's hidden in dense forests and contains two roller coasters and a dingy slide. "Silvia" is a landscape wooden, and "Taberna Run" is an LIM Launched Coaster.
  17. New wooden roller coaster located in "Millennium Palms". It's a landscape coaster. SCR198.BMP SCR199.BMP (Some supports are not done)
  18. The coaster has been named "Silvia", which is Latin for the word "Forest" (supposedly). The ride is very useful to the park because- a.) It is located far off from everything else in it's section, called "Mystique Forest" (or something along the lines of that). It directs people from the more major rides, thus reducing lines (by a little, SkyDive still has 200+ people in line for it with 2 trains running). b.) This thing speeds through 2,500 customers per hour- the most ride capacity in the entire park. Lines are in excess of 400 people now but the line is only but about 15 minutes- SkyDive (with 200 people in line) is also around 15 minutes.) Some more pictures. Remember, comments are ALWAYS appreciated! SCR196.BMP Station, still in progress. SCR197.BMP Queue (without scenery and trees) SCR198.BMP Queue (with scenery and trees) SCR199.BMP Whooo! SCR200.BMP Look at how it's strategically placed away from most everything else0 a way where no one gets lost finding it and where it directs enough crowds away from larger rides.
  19. I'm working on a new wooden roller coaster. It goes away from the park's usual "big and intimidating" but it really packs a punch and will for sure end up on one of your top wooden coasters! Here's a preview... (I have a lot of work to do on this, like more landscaping, supports, and I have to work on the station. So remember it's only a preview of what's to come.) SCR192.BMP The turn wraps around a hill. (One of my first tries at serious landscaping, not done yet) SCR189.BMP Lake in the middle of tracks. SCR191.BMP Layout. What do you guys think?
  20. Has it ever happened before that a ride closes because of low ridership? Not like a littler ride, I mean a bigger one like Intimidator.
  21. I'm done with this park pretty much. All it really was was a bunch of rides packed together. "Millennium Palms" is far better. And looking at this I realize how much I've improved in such a short time... But heres some pictures to send this park off. I still like the layouts of these rides, but the execution is horrible. Maybe I can put some in my newer work. SCR177.BMP Knight Watch. I still like this coaster, im thinking I could put it into my new park. SCR178.BMP Wooden Roller Coasterr. Again I like the layout. SCR168.BMP Obliteration... SCR173.BMP Small Dive Coaster "Hornet's Nest" SCR176.BMP Suspended Swinger. SCR169.BMP Quite a few rides packed into this shot. SCR171.BMP As with this one (sorta) SCR170.BMP Hypercoaster.
  22. I like to think as the FoF and i305 section as it's own little section away from Congo. I mean they can just put up a sign like, something to do with modern America or something and voila, it works.
