  1. Now that I saw this I definitely won't be riding it cause it's completely unsafe.
  2. ^Oh don't get me wrong, my hats off to them for trying. I'm all for new things. World's first backward B&M. Also it would seem B&M would have to be involved in this "experiment" as I would assume some modified parts would be needed to turn the seats around. Then again, I'm no mechanic or engineer.
  3. ^I'm with you. This would be an absolute hit at Knott's.
  4. Looks like it added some needed energy to the park.
  5. Amazing. Thanks for sharing!
  6. Viper was ahead of its time. The fan turn just after the 1st vertical loop is the best part.
  7. Viper, for its age runs like a champ. It's damn near smoother than Scream!
  8. This "incident" was not newsworthy by any means. However, I do wonder why Mr. freeze @ SFSTL doesn't have the 2 catwalks that Mr. Freeze at SFOT has on the valley sections of the ride.
  9. There's seriously a group called "Goosewatch"?!?.......................Oh Hell!
  10. Your first stop should probably be Guest Relations via (732) 928-1821
  11. If it was any other park I'd say the cable could be replaced overnight by the maintenance team but definitely not SFMM.
  12. Lol figured as much. Tatsu hasn't seen 3 train operation since summer of 2009 probably.
  13. Par for the course. Let us know if Tatsu still has 1 train.
  14. ^Very true. While I do still feel sorry for them it is what it is. That's like showing up at 12 noon and hoping all Black Friday deals are still available. Showing up early for something you know is going to be popular should be common knowledge and common sense for that matter......
  15. ^For the guests that have the "wheelchair" access pass they will get a return time (if they request) because in DCA that pass only gets them into the stand-by line as all queues in DCA are wheelchair accessible. In Disneyland that pass benefits them differently as not all queues are wheelchair accessible. I do agree with you that it is a shame that RSR's Fastpass times out so quickly that most guests are not given a fair chance at getting them. I have absolutely no sympathy for the passholders that show up at the park at 6pm wanting to get a Fastpass but I do however feel sorry for the families that show up at 10am and Fastpasses are already booked out.
  16. ^^Exactly. Stand-By is exactly that, Stand-By. Same way it would be with a concert of flight as you stated. Chrisrad I do understand that is seems as if Stand-By gets the shaft but Fastpass does take priority bottom line. In regards to the Guest Assistance Cards, I do agree with you that there are people that do abuse the system however guest relations is pretty strict on giving them out. Also, just because someone seems "OK" doesn't mean they don't have an underlying issue.
  17. ^ And good advice that is. The line for RSR fast pass distribution stretches all the way to Tower of Terror by 830 on some mornings.
  18. You'd expect the same treatment if you had a Fastpass. The only reason you're saying this is because you haven't had a Fastpass. If you did, I HIGHLY doubt you'd say "man this Fastpass line is moving too fast."
  19. ^^Yes there is most likely a buss-bar in the station that charges the batteries/capacitors while train is loading/unloading. Since they are most likely LED bulbs, they will have extremely low power consumption so a battery will be able to run them for an entire operating day without a charge.
  20. Those devices keep the anti-rollbacks and chain dogs On the underside of the train from puncturing the drive tires.
  21. That is some crazy sh*T! Looks like fun.
