  1. There's a few douchebags like this, sadly...
  2. Steel tracks on wooden frame, I feel like it's the seventies again, except the seventies couldn't have ever imagined doing anything remotely insane (and safely( like this. iRAT looks boiss, and I'm surprised I said that much...C'mon Mean Streak you should be next.
  3. Last week at a Super Bol party, this guy tells me that he doesn't do inverting coasters because the restraints (OTSRs) can pop open. I told him it's an incredibly rare thing to happen. He still insists because he believes it to badger me about it. Little later on, tells me that Disney World (Magic Kingdom) have coaster crashes all the time, but they're not reported. I assure him that is not the case, and explain what actually happened to Big Thunder, but again, he believes he's right.
  4. You know someone will comlain about this...
  5. ^Finally someone with some common sense! I expect to be flamed on it.
  6. This one is my favourite one on the list...and I thought mine were douchey.
  7. Wild Beast, underrated? Really? I came here to post Grizzly myself, but the two of them are not the same coaster, built off the same plans or not. Grizzly isn't quite what it once was thanks to so much of the woods around it being torn down, but it's also far better than it was a few years ago; I believe it was retracked 2-3 years ago, and last time I rode it a few years back, it was remarkably smooth and fast, really a great ride, and still amazing after dark, if a little less so than a decade ago. Wild Beast though, I've never heard anyone that's ridden it and didn't feel like it was trying to kill them. I rode it for the first time earlier this summer, and I think it was the second worst coaster I've ever been on (beaten only Hercules at Dorney before it was improved by being turned into firewood). I could not believe how rough it was, it felt like it was completely coming apart. Hard to imagine how two "identical" coasters can ride so much differently, apart from a horrific lack of maintenance on WB, and that seems odd since most of CW seems quite well taken care of. Actually, I found this past year that Minebuster was trying to kill me. It's extremely prevelent when you're coming out of the helix and slam right into the side of the car. I actually found Wild Beast quite enjoyable.
  8. I'd like to see this done without the launch, using just the lift. Definitely an unique and fun looking coaster.
  9. That is awesome! I know I said it before. Kind of reminded me of El Toro or Colossos where it's one airtime hill followed after another, and it just doesn't seem to let up.
  10. Wow, wow, and wow! I really dig this one, AJ. I do have one minor complaint though...where's the POV?
  11. Thank you sir. It's actually not that bad at all.
  12. Hopefully in January when I'll be there...c'mon soft opening!
  13. Holy sh!t this is incredible! I cannot think of anything else to say other than wow...
  14. Speed and Hydro at Oakwood look a bit out of place. Disclaimer: I know Hydro isn't a coaster, but it came to me the same time Speed did.
  15. Actually, if you look at Olympia Loopon, I believe the fourth loop is looking a bit like a corkscrew/half loop, maybe it's the fifth, but RD would clear that up for sure.
  16. Here's a little gem of my own, Enigma-a GCI family coaster. Only a 15x12 footprint... SCR3.BMP
  17. I have to say the one thing I started doing this year while on coasters was going 'weeeeee!' I wasn't trying to be Robb, but I was having way too much fun.
  18. I dunno if it's been brought up, another thing I noticed with Arrow's 3 7 inverters was that there was more tracking on the vertical loops. It was kind of triangular, and solely for the vertical loops.
  19. As Robb said, it's him having fun, and I suppose many people cannot handle his enthusiasm. I'll scream on a coaster, be silly, and that's because I'm having fun. It's a fracking roller coaster, they're designed to have fun...
  20. This kind of reminds me if they put BPB or Indiana Beach on a hillside. I'm actually digging the park dude, keep it up.
