^ I would think the Spain trip has the most spots taken from the UK'ers. As far as that feeling of being amazed at being in Spain that is how I felt on the whole UK trip. It was truly awesome. There will still be room just make sure you have a deposit ready. Plus you will save time since you won't need the whole parental form like the midwest trip will need.

Way to start breaking down my well made facade here at TPR Larry. If Lou thinks I have patience it's not hurting her to believe that since we know she will never test it like the members of Theme Park Critic do. Lou: you are right I definately miss you as I have said before you are by far the number 1 ranked English girl in all catergories to me. I am also glad there are so many of us doing the Spain trip. Melanie and I both thought you were doing Spain so we are definately glad that this confirms it. We are also missing Japan due to our jobs.

Lou I think that is what she meant, and even if it isn't official we can let others believe we have more power. Add that use of power with your fanboy status and I believe we can convince people to offer up bribes. By the time Spain comes we will be hooked up. BTW I never thought I would say this, but I actually really miss your country. For me that is a big statement, because before this trip I never thought I would travel overseas. If you are actually interested in going, why wouldn't you read the first page to actually get some basic information, or if you have a question why wouldn't you read to see if someone answered it already. Your age will also be a huge factor. BTW R&E I would like to offer my services as an application reader for the upcoming TPR trips.

Great TR I loved your park on my visit this past summer. I though thundercoaster was absolutely amazing, but unfortunatelt I only got one trip on Speed monster. I even have a park shirt which I have worn proudly to my school.

Photo Trip Report: Crow Flies At Midnight

Even though I had made seven consecutive trips to the beach I have still never been at night. I believe next summer I will stay at the motel and make an evening of it. Great photos. Rich "Fellow UK'r and Midwesterner" Bitner -

Great trip report Derek, but it makes me sad to see so many of my UK buddies in one spot. The life of a teacher, I have the time off but the govt does not give me enough money. Glad you all had a blast and I am dying for the UK dvd. Rich "Stuck by Notre Dame" Bitner BTW will the tour bus be long enough for Derek to not violate his Hoffman girl restraining order. -
Twister I don't think imfluences would be a problem, but I also know there is no way on god's green earth my mom would have let me go on one of these trips when I was 15. Personally, I would believe a lot of younger memebers, no matter how mature, could really feel out of place on one of these trips. That being said Barron, Kristie and Ryan were all extremely cool to hang around with so who knows. I guess this would be why R&E are going case by case.

Ballpark or not you are still asking about price. Just wait a month. the only point of this thread is to give you a chance to look at your calendars and see which trips are options. Here is an example of what this thread is for: Spain = YES Midwest = Maybe Japan = NO That is all this thread is for. Not flight times, not cost, not ERT's. Please stop driving R&E nuts as I need them to "show me the world". Rich "one trip down and fanboy free" Bitner

What Derek said is 100% true. I consider myself to be on the antisocial side and would have had no problem just hanging with my wife and Larry. However as you get used to the others on the bus your group expands and becomes a lot more fun. The reason it may sound like a clique is due to a couple inside jokes and like Derek said about five people that seem to be lacking in social norms and/or have personal space issues. Anyone thinking that you would be isolated is way off base and after you go on a trip you will understand. Going into the trip I had met Larry and that was all. By the end I would consider about 30 people on the bus people I definately hope go to Spain. Some of these are the people everyone mentions and others get very little notice on the site. The people on the trip were great and like Derek said it may be neat to see people from the video but just be yourself and you may find at the end of the trip you have several new friends.

I have to say as a UK tripper the idea of being crammed on a bus with people who can't read sounds awful. Seriously, you will be touring in close quarters, for 10 or more days, with long bus trips, and for some RANDOM roommates. Do you really want those people's first impression of you to be this. As for the guy who 1) wants Avalanche ERT. 2) thinks timber falls can't hold 50 people. What??? Why use ERT on a park that takes 1 hr to ride avalnche about 15 times. That park rarely has over 50 people doing all attractions at any one point during the day. The all day pass allows you to leave and come back whenever that day. Elissa don't smash the keyboard, there are far more of us who use common sense than those who don't. We all appreciate the time you put in.

Can I come? Well actually, I wasn't asking what the total price was, just what the deposit would be. If it's a nice round number like $100, that's easy to say, if it's a % of the total cost, then yeah, they wouldn't be able to tell me. I would put deposit into the other details catergory, but hey thats just me. R&E the longer I know you you the more I respect you.

I will tell you what Joe these people asking the same stinking question 20 times is about driving me nuts. As I tell my fifth graders "try reading you will be amazed at the answers you can find" From now on asking anything about the money should result in an additional fee to buy treats for the rest of the people on the trip who have to put up with you. My wife and I are sure things for Spain and our second TPR trip. For a couple of those people worried about locals on the midwest trip, like Parktrips said these trips are as much about the people as the parks. I have been to every park on the midwest tour, yet we may still show up for the trip because the trip experience flat out rules. All I can say is if the dates work and the price is right get your money in!!

As a member of the UK trip there is no way anyone felt that Lou took the spot away from someone on the "other side of the planet". Lou absolutely rocked on the trip and was one of the reasons it was so fun. Second Martyn if your theory is applied to any US trips, does that mean none of us should go so as to not take a spot from other people. IMO first people who want to go and who are able is who should go, no matter where they call home. Rich "friend of Lou not a fanboy" Bitner -

American Eagle at SFGAM is ok, but I prefer Viper for a great wood experience at that park.
