  1. It's not painful at all (although I'd bet it is on a TOGO). Lots of good rides have flat first drops: CCIs, classic woodies, and the Morgan Hypers are supposed to (though I have yet to ride one). EDIT: Just looked at a POV of Bizarro @ SFNE, and most of that ride's first drop is flat. It is an awesome, smooth, top 5 worthy ride (and the drop is awesome). Hope this helps to answer your question.
  2. Knoebels is just a big small park.
  3. Here's the original post: Discuss.
  4. Couldn't have said it any better. I actually feel like I get dumber looking at people's comments on YouTube.
  5. The GP really do leave their brains at home when they go to the park.
  6. ^ That makes me excited for Morey's new ride. Good work!
  7. Good TR. Very interesting to read, especially your mini-reviews of the coasters in the park. I need to get out to Florida someday...
  8. I haven't been on either of them, but here is an article that might interest you.
  9. I just watched that POV. That ride looks like a load of fun. Even though this ride has been delayed so much, after seeing that, I'm confident it will be worth the wait.
  10. I really like how WindSeeker looks. It's very photogenic. Hopefully the Point can get it up and running soon!
  11. That's not as annoying as when they call it a "cart".
  12. It looks like Mitch did something he hasn't done in past years. Introducing The Wood vs. Steel Results! You can find the full Spreadsheet here. Enjoy!
  13. Now Cedar Fair has failed at burning down BOTH Son of Beast and Mean Streak! Ugh...
  14. ^ So you are judging a ride right when it opened, and before it got a chance to warm up, and you think it is too smooth even though it is a steel coaster? I'd ride it again (after it has been given a chance to warm up) before passing judgment on it, and keeping in mind that it is not only a steel coaster, but a completely new type of experience. I'm not trying to judge your opinion of the ride, but I'd give it another chance.
  15. Lakeside- It's a nice park, but not my favorite. Elitch Gardens... uh, no.
  16. Interesting. Does anyone know why they changed it, or if they plan to use the yellow loop for some sort of theming-related purpose?
  17. What is it with transplanted B&Ms and their controversial yellow loops?
