Customer Relations is your friend. Shapiro whipped Customer Relations into shape at the parks, and given GAdv was closest to home, I'm sure he was crackin' the whip weekly. At Great America, I've seen guests complain of line jumping, and get skip the line passes. GO TO GUEST RELATIONS ! But that is a park problem, and has nothing to do with Al Weber, or Jim Reid-Anderson. Hope things are better for you this year.

There once was a Six Flags Park so deserted, so quaint, with so much potential. The park was known as 'Six Flags River of Adventure.' Coasters rarely operated. Rides were plopped in with no effort, no logos, and sometimes, no names. Rides that operated were few. Lines were always in-existent. Shops and park areas as a whole had no theme, just 'Six Flags.' Rides would be removed for no reason, with nothing to replace them. Originally record breaking structures go un-used. The park's star attraction, 'Superman: The Escape' is rarely operating, and when it is, launches only half way up the tower and runs one side alone. More on the park soon. -- David

I must add, the new restraints may not be '2011' but 'future.' If they are what I'm hearing, they will be along the lines of those new Revolution restraints we've been seeing. And what's going on at Demon is pretty interesting.. some 'cleaning' you might say? Nothing is being removed, but Demon is getting some work. And I won't comment on Whizzer, you'll just have to feel the helixes yourself.. 2011 is a year of improvements at Great America.

Try preparing to board Iron Wolf, and then seeing that the buckle is covered in spit. The ride operators didn't even do anything about it except offer me a ride on the next train!

If you're a COASTER enthusiast, I'd have to say SoCal, but if you're a general park lover, Chicago, or Gurnee in particular. Great America is an amazing park here in the Chicago land area, and it provides superb entertainment, an amazing selection of flats, and a coaster collection that you'll never get tired of. To top it off, some of the best entertainment at an amusement park. Also, we havve arguably one of the best water parks in the chain!

So Alvey's, it's been almost a year since new management invaded Six Flags (well at least Al). What are your thoughts on how things are being done? Do you miss Mark Shapiro being CEO? -- David

Superman: Ultimate Flight at SFGAm. This is such a horrible waste of prime expansion area. The ride is slow, boring, and anything past the pretzel is boring.
