If you bought the Quick Queue as soon as you walked in the park, you were standing right next to me. When we got there around 3ish we went to the guest services just inside the front gate to get our Quick Queue and they said there were 6 left and we got 4, then someone to my right got the last two. I was the tall guy in the EPCOT shirt. Hmmm... I bought mine at the Emporium across from the Globe. Bought mine at 2:45pm

Quick Queue sold out at 3pm, how I know, was one of the last to buy one!

The paint on Vortex was probably park maintenance sealing a weld on the coaster to prevent rust. probably.

Most people who use to (or currently) work at parks know the sound pretty well.

Its either the outer cover of a shock absorbed or a modern plunger bottom....

The end of this season is going to be CRAZY! Think about it, has there ever been so many teams in contention for the playoffs? (yes, I know, second wildcard spot... blah, blah blah) And we thought the end to last season was ridiculous.... LETS GO O's!

This. If you use anything along these lines (no pun intended) at any park on a busy day, it will usually pay off in the end. This seems to be especially helpful if you've never been, or want to do all of the mazes. Exactly, And the beauty of the QQ is the benefit of taking in the day at your own pace. No scrambling to hit all the mazes. But for those looking to have a good time at HOS, I'd make sure to hit.... Catacombs, Bitten, Deadline, Root of Evil (though i haven't experienced it nor have there been any reviews, the concept behind this maze sounds incredible.), take in Fiends. The Open Casket sounds pretty cool too! BTW, tonight is the first night, excited to hear some of the reviews from the night. I'll be there Oct 6th.

Just buy a Quik-Queue. It always worth the laughs when you just walk past the MASSIVE haunt maze lines. I've been going to HOS since 2005, been doing QQ since 2010, been doing well so far!

^ The tracks structure probably wasn't stable enough to consider it for that type of rebuild under RMC's specifications. If you look at Rattler and Texas Giant, they had very dense structures. SOB wasn't really that dense.

^Agreed, Premier seems to always high-tech, but high quality products. I've always enjoyed FoF and Backlot at KD. This looks like a fun addition but something that could had been much more....

Well they technically didn't show the final brake run in the POV either so it's just speculation that the final helix is not there. It could still be there next season, then again it may not be. As was discussed before it's just artist concept so it may not look EXACTLY as it does in the POV. We're just gonna have to see. Definitely, My guess it will bank into the brake run to end the ride or maybe the park is holding another surprise for us! BTW, this coaster looks AMAZING! My only bother was the track color, but when your hurdling down hill at 70mph at 81 degrees and doing Barrell Rolls, who gives a flying flip!

Had to do a double take on the claims the coaster made. Thought it said tallest and fastest wooden coaster in California. At first I missed the Northern part. I was like "wait a second...." But very clever on CGA's part for advertising. "Our coaster is bigger than the OTHER NorCal woodie" Also very fitting name with the 49ers coming soon. I can imagine some good promotional material having members of the team there on the media day riding the coaster in uniform.

I was at Kings Dominion and heard GP talking about GateKeeper (yes they were GP, said MF was 350ft tall). Word spreads quick!
