During Busch Gardens Adventure Camp, everybody sang the Pokemon theme song while going up the chain lift of Kraken, and yelled "FOR NARNIA" on the first drop! We also got to ride Sheikra before the park opened twice in a row without getting off.

Probably has to do with who is making it, other than that, the wood get's worn faster than the steel (or something along that line). There's speed of sound and light, but is there a speed of sight?

The Dubai people are quite friendly, they don't pressure you into buying things when you go around their shops and they don't give you any faces for clearly being a tourist (you might spy one or two, but it's no big deal.). In reality, not possible at all. There are different sections on the skyscraper that makes the building come outward the further down you go: If they did, then they would create the world's fastest controlled zip-line!

Great report! After a few weeks from my trip, I soon found out that some of the slides in Aquaventure actually has a camera that takes your picture down the first drop. It was one of the slides on the second level. I always thought the Atlantis in the Bahamas was slightly better, but that could have been due to my cruise down there.

I'm still kicking myself for not stopping by Sega Republic when I was in Dubai back in July, 2009. We strolled in the mall, but didn't pass by the place . Oh well, maybe next time. The view from the top looks amazing! This made me really want to go back there! But the price for the ride up is what would make my dad think twice!
