  1. OH MY GOSH!!!!! Ferrari World, BGT, and now SFMM!!! This is the best week in a while as far as theme park news goes! Can't wait for that Zacspin!!!
  2. While it is odd that they would name it Cheetah Hunt when they already have Cheetah Chase and they are completely different kinds of rides which may be confusing, THIS RIDE IS SICK!!! The theming looks incredible and the first launch area is really cool! Well done BGT!
  3. Avalanche put on a fantastic show tonight! Shootout thriller 5-4
  4. Awwwwww I've never seen a baby killer whale before. That is so cute!!!
  5. This Could Be Love - Alkaline Trio
  6. ^^I really like how the trains look in this new video.
  7. Dark Ride + Rocket coaster = Awesome! I love the storyline too!
  8. I love hockey, and I used to love the Av's, but I didn't know why. I currently have no favorite team, but I usually follow players in the NHL from my High School. That being said, it looks like the Pen's don't have a win yet. Hope they can pick it up really quickly!
  9. Yes it is only ONE BIG maze. Sorry, I didn't write it as such because they all feel different and unique with very little bleeding. Also, the redneck hayride alone made me craze a second walk through, but I didn't want to pay $25 again! My roommate was shocked to hear that they had such a lack of actors, and promised me that if I went "closer to Halloween" I would have a better time. ^I read Pufferfish's review before I went and it was very helpful. It is also the only reason I knew which forum to post this in . I am going to Spookywoods on the 29th, and I was wondering if you had been to that one Darkstitch!
  10. Front: All Looping coasters Boulder Dash Millennium Force Kingda Ka Back: Nitro Bizarro (SFNE) TTD just some examples...
  11. I had heard from a lot of my friends at school that The Woods of Terror in Greensboro, North Carolina is one of the scariest halloween attractions in the nation. I had only been to the Haunted Graveyard at Lake Compounce prior to this, so I was a bit nervous and didn't know what to expect. Here's what I got out of each of the mazes at the Woods of Terror(sorry if it may contain SPOILERS!!!) Elements of Terror: This maze was right at the beginning and was basically a warm-up for the rest of the the mazes. It was very dark and packed with cramped spaces, fake insects and snakes, loud noises, and a gross toilet . I liked it, as it was unique and I haven't been through a maze like it. 7/10 Nightstalkers: This maze was much better than the corn maze portion of The Haunted Graveyard, which is the only other Halloween haunt I've been to, simply because the corn was real. That being said, it wasn't very good. There were 6 actors that I saw in the whole thing. 3 of them were dressed in scare masks, but they were walking along the path and didn't do much. Two girls were sitting in bus seats on the two school buses, and there was a guy running along the top of the first bus. I was expecting much more, like people coming out of the corn, and lack of actors was a common theme on the night. 5/10 Heavy Metal Nightmare: This maze was really cool. Slipknot music, strobe lights, fog, and other cool effects. The actors got VERY close to use, and came out of the mist abruptly. Also, there was an actor creating sparks along the fences with his sticks which was really cool. At the exit, there was a guy banging on a trashcan with a pipe, and he struck my friend's elbow on his way down and left a nice bruise. Not very long, but very cool indeed! 8/10 Clown Town: This maze was weird. We were given glasses by the most friendly horror clown I've ever met, and continued inside. There were 3 clowns roaming the maze, but they just walked around and didn't scare anyone in my party. The 3-D pictures of clowns were interesting, but definitely not scary at all. 4/10 The Vortex: This "maze" (if you want to call it that) was really cool. With the 3-D glasses on, it was insane. Even when I took mine off for a bit, it was still tough to walk straight. Definitely one of the highlights of the nights! 9/10 The Blood House: I really liked this house, because they paused us a moment to let the group in front of us go ahead a few minutes which made it better, and it had a floor which was nice because throughout most of the "houses" I could feel roots and sticks under my feet which killed the mood. There were many actors in this house, and they were all energetic and very scary. I got a few really good scares out of this house, but it was far too short. 7/10 The Awakening: This was a graveyard themed maze, but I only saw 4 actors the entire time which was really disappointing. There was a guy climbing on a car which was cool, and a girl in a wedding dress who kept asking me if I was her husband "Victor", who I am not. There were a couple of other guys creeping around and banging on coffins with shovels. Nothing popped out at me here which was a real letdown. 5/10 Blackbeard's Revenge: This maze was terrible. I saw 2 pirates the whole time, and mostly I was just walking through pitched-black hallways. Seriously, this place had a severe lack of actors the whole night. 2/10 I'll take this time to mention that the "woods" were pretty much safe which was really tragic. No actors were in between the houses, and there so many alcoves that I could see where people could, and probably do hide in at some point, but no one was there. Inbred Redneck Hayride: This was part scare, part humor, all fun. It's a hayride through many scenes of actors portraying rednecks. The tour guide was funny and kept talking to me and introducing her "family" to me. Loads of fun! 10/10 Horrorwood Cinema: I don't know what to make of this maze. The sets were really good, but the actors didn't do anything. Mike Myers just paced around in front of his house, Freddy was cool as he made sparks with his claws on a fence, and jason literally just pointed us along the path. Really disappointing performance. 5/10 The Slaughter House: This house was cool because they once again spaced out the groups that had become quite bunched and large at this point. The doorman was talking to me about college and gave me a fist pound which was awesome. The set was pretty detailed, but the scares were quite limited. Leatherface was the only scary actor in the entire house revving his chainsaw behind a door. The rest just pleaded for help and sat in the kitchen being...there. 6/10 Miner's Massacre: This was just a series of cramped corridors with few actors. The actors that were there were very good. I jumped when I passed a group of actors laying on a table that jumped at me when I walked by. There was also a guy with a snake that looked very real. 6/10 Virus: This was the last maze of the night, and it was decent. A lot of zombies roaming round a junkyard, and doctors working with infected people. It was very well done, but not very scary. 7/10 Overall I was quite disappointed by Woods of Terror. There were SO MANY good spots that people could have been hiding, but there were no actors to be found. Is this how it usually is, or was I there during an actor change? Do they even do those at these types of events? Thanks in advance for getting back to me!
  12. A serious collision on the Pony Express...this is the last news I expected to see today!
  13. Bring one to SFNE next and keep the wild mouse at Kentucky Kingdom! We'll settle
  14. It's like the Xcelerator trains on steroids! Glad to see this project is going smoothly so far. I can't wait to see this open and see how it changes the industry.
  15. The Webs We Weave - Escape the Fate
  16. ^^^I agree with the Dorney claim, as I stayed at that hotel this summer and had a room facing the park. The lights on some of the attractions at night make it look amazing, and waking up to an amusement park across the street is incredible. I still think the best is seeing Cedar Point for the first time from a distance. simply incredible.
  17. Haha this is really funny guys! It made my day!!! Keep it up
  18. These are my favorite types of parks. Keep up the great work!
  19. ^At least it isn't as "family" as th13teen is with its ultra-intense marketing campaign! I think this will be a fantastic addition to the park, and may even become the best coaster there! Family ride or not it kicks tail!
  20. This is an absolutely insane achievement! I haven't even been on 1/10 the coasters that you have, and your pictures are beautiful too!
  21. Numb - Linkin Park
  22. ^That makes me more excited about the tower element, and gives a better impression of the speed and flow of the ride. Did you make that video?
  23. This ride looks like Dollywood's Thunderhead on steroids! I can't wait to see how this turns out because it looks like it may make its way onto many top10 lists when it opens!
  24. I can't wait to have that model within 2 hours of my house! I've never been on a eurofighter and Im dying to ride one! It may be smaller than others, but it looks to be a fantastic model.
