  1. I thought they took gondelbahn (1001 arabian nights darkide) completely down. Würmling express is on a different location and a different ride system.
  2. Actually your translation is not entirely right. Heide park is auctioning one of their old trains. Its the front car wich you could be the owner of. Including seats and restraints. As a bonus you will be invited to Heide Park.
  3. Poof Good, Pen Better, Club Awesome
  4. I intended to sign up when you send the questionniare. But now you got perks in the neighborhood, I am certainly going to sign up as soon as possible. Can't wait till March
  5. No worry's. I am gratefull for the work you put in.
  6. I really want to go to Japan. But Australia and Spain are on my to do list. Choices, Choices. Most difficult.
  7. It is very silent around toverland and their plans for 2010. Can't find anything new about upcoming rides. Indeed the sites pretparken.be (belgium) and coastervision.eu (dutch) send e-mails to toverland to get confirmation about a new coaster and toverland responded that the large new ride as mentioned in the media is postponed to 2011. toverland will come up with an official announcement off all things 2010
  8. I voted for jcrouse, n7 and rcrider. I must agree with piers. The first version of n7 looked the best in my opinion. but the logo of jds03 is also great. Don't like the card.
  9. two new idea's the logo is not so good and should be replaced by one of the better ones like jcrouse's but i like the card style. first one may be to much coaster second one is simple and clear based on american express clear one fun one
  10. Looks all great fun you are having Brilliant pictures enjoy your trip I would say 'fight'
  11. logo's where never my strong point. I'm better at illustrations. my vote goes to the logo of jcrous (revised one), I think that one is the best so far.
  12. It is cold , so cold that the all the mayor lakes and even the sea are starting to freeze. That rarely happens, and tomorrow some really bad weather is coming this way.
  13. Couldn't help myself. I had to give it another go. I have not used photoshop since I finished my graphic design education, but you have me warming up again. I really, really, really like the logo from jcrouse (latest version) here is my new idea. Less cartoony, bit more professional, still says FUN. [/img]
  14. I personally never had a problem with vekoma's roughness. Perhaps because I'm used to them. About half the coasters I have ridden where vekoma's and even the slc prototype 'el condor' does not hurt me, even when this one does not have the banking the others have to even the forces a bit out. And I think it is great that Vekoma comes up with so many new idea's and tries to improve themselfs. it may be a bold statement but what if vekoma never made the lie-down (flying dutchman) concept. Would B&M made their flying concept? I am glad there are companies that try new things. it only is a plus for all coaster enthusiasts.
  15. last idea for now. I have a few busy days ahead so I probably be giving it another go early next weak. I have to work on this one a bit. It does not have the same feel as the website, but I like the idea bit of swirly
  16. Alright a new path. I guess this is what is meant by highlight url simple but to be continued less is more = more is less
  17. I agree, the cheapest way is to let all the cards be printed by a card company and print the names on yourself. On my work we use a laserprinter for cards to burn the names numbers and photographs on the cards of the season-pass holders. edit: but it is cheap because of bulk. we have about 25.000 to 30.000 season-pass holders, I don't know costs for lower numbers.
  18. That looks really good n7 If a can make one remark I would only put the logo on the card. The word membership makes the logo style clash with the style of the rest of the card. The rest looks superb
  19. Finally someone who understands me No seriously, I think I know which direction you want to go. I have to tweak it a bit to make sure it prints oke but I think I am going this way Sorry I posted when you posted this. I will take it in account with my next tweak back front
  20. I thought of another question, will the membership-card be printed on 1 or 2 sides? And here are some first idea's. Please comment them classic colour club
  21. I will do my best to create a good idea. But I have a question, are you planning on printing the membership-cards in one go (I would do that) and add the names and numbers later. If so do you intend to print them on or punch them out? I like to know because this could affect the design and the user friendliness of the design. for example, this is my own bankpass. Image design by me. Had to smudge it up a bit. But this has a light design to accomodate the dark print.
  22. I am working this whole week. Apparently some people use this holiday vacation as an excuse to visit parks so we who work there have a very busy weak. Just kidding, I couldn't miss my work for too long. Everyday something fun happens. Today I worked 9 hours in the cold but I can have it. My next vacation will be in june. I will meet up with some other coaster enthusiasts and we will tour some parks in europe
  23. 1. I am rather new to the forum and I was wondering how you could put so much effort in something you didn't charge for. I thought it was very nice but I wouldn't mind becomming a premium member of TPR if it means you can make TPR even grander then it already is. 2. I think you could involve premium members even more into TPR. Maybe indeed through private boards. You know premium members are serious about TPR and can help for example with trip planning. Not to hid you in the head Elissa, your doing a great job, but if a trip is going through an area where a member lives he/she can help by pointing out attractions, restaurant, hotels or other quircks that are not well known of but great to do. (just a thought) And by direct contacting that member it won't spoil the surprice for the rest of the trip go'ers. 3. As I am seeing now I would sign. 4. Not interested?!? 5. Experience wise it will be the next step into TPR evolution. If you do this, welcome to the experience economy. I think it is fair to charge for TPR membership to help in development of TPR. Cyberspace does cost something and you put a lot of work and time into TPR. This may also be your 'hobby' way of life, but I think it is fair to receive more then our great appriciation for this.
