  1. ^I think Blackstone is your best bet with the whole Universal/Busch merger. Personally, I would love to have a season pass that would combine USF, IOA, SWO, and BGA. Of course, they could have another pass that includes the water parks. But at this point, who knows what will happen with the parks.
  2. SheiKra, front row last Wednesday.
  3. I was never really impressed with the park, but it's still sad to hear about 2009. Oh well.
  4. Sounds a little like the one at SF Great Adventure. Should be a nice addition to the park and hopefully I'll get to see it next summer.
  5. I'm back to my normal scores, 6/10.
  6. What about Cypress Gardens!!! Those Body Collectors at HHN remind me of the Gentlemen from the Buffy episode "Hush". Anyway, great trip report as always.
  7. Since my last post was lost, the price of gas by me has dropped 3 cent. It's now at $2.36.
  8. Sorry Wes, gotta go with the boobs.
  9. Trust me, I don't mind having 8 "year round" parks near me.
  10. I know I keep saying this, but what I like the most about this whole thing is that we don't know the official layout yet. It's a nice change of pace to have to wait till supports and track go up to know what it will look like. Edit: BTW, thanks for the pics Todd.
  11. Too bad SFMM already announced their GCI for 2009. Just kidding. Hopefully, the Ozark Wildcat finds a new home quickly.
  12. A lot of good observations and ideas in this thread. I have agree with the smaller more intense/thrilling coasters, along with more woodies, less steel, and using the terrain. I also think the "dark ride" coasters like The Mummy and the "Kuka arm" may be more in demand too if the price is right.
  13. Sounds great!!! I have to agree that it's about time USH got a big time (spiderman type) dark ride. I guess I'll be heading out there in 2011.
  14. I think almost any combination would have had the AL the favorite, except for maybe the White Sox being in the finals..
  15. ^^You're right, I shouldn't have put Philly in my post.
  16. I know, I was just messing around with ya. I only moved to Florida last December, so I'm not familiar with the Rays fans down here. When I moved down I started rooting for the Rays because they were the local team. I had no idea this would happen. I actually grew up a Mets fan, so now I root for the Mets in the NL and the Rays in the AL. As for fans, that's usually a universal thing. New Yok and Philly fans are the same way. When their team is bad there are a lot of empty seats and when the team is good everyone is suddenly on the wagon. Another good example are Dallas Cowboy fans. I never realized how many Cowboys fans there were until Jimmy Johnson starting winning Super Bowls in the early 90's.
  17. How about them Rays!!!! How do you like them apples, Beemer?
  18. Wow, that's going to be a steep lift hill for a Flyer. Looks to be about 45 degrees like the Dive machines and newer hypers. Thanks for the pics, Johnny.
  19. Eating before going on coasters doesn't bother me either. As a matter of fact, I feel sick if I don't eat in the morning or throughout the day. I also need lots of fluids on those hot days.
  20. Bat Out of Hell - MeatLoaf
  21. Under $3.00 here in Winter Haven, Fl. Actually, it's $2.95.
  22. The coaster is looking mighty purty.
  23. I just voted again for you guys after reading my PM. I'll try and remember to do so each day till the contest is over.
  24. Heck with 2008, I'm already looking forward to 2009. ...2009 planned parks so far: BGA/SWO-season pass IOA/USF-season pass Magic Kingdom DHS DAK EPCOT Waldameer Kennywood Cedar Point Kings Island Holiday World CGA SFDK Santa Cruz Oh and I'm still planning on hitting BGA, SWO, IOA and USF a couple more times in 2008.
