We didn't book until about six weeks out and we were still able to get times...granted they were like 8am and not ideal times, but it was possible! As for the destinations on a Caribbean cruise, it's really what you're into. We've done ATV's and Zip Lines a ton so we don't really do them anymore. We've never been beach people so we steer clear from those. And we don't need to drink or eat a ton as we do that on the ship, so we don't do the all inclusive resorts that you can do. Our favorite locations in the Caribbean are probably Jamaica, the private islands, and St. Maarten (for the fun airport!). -

Great questions... For that "Princess Gathering" you sign up ahead of time for a time and get all four princesses just waiting in line one time. For Frozen, that's a separate sign up, and you get both girls for waiting in line once. Other random characters are just listed in the schedule and you'll basically wait 20 minutes no matter what. Either get there 20min early and be first in line, or get in line once it's open and wait 20 minutes. The only exception was the Marvel Characters. They also had special signups (like the princesses), and just random schedules when you'd have to get in line earlier or wait longer. -

Everyone needs to move on from the Fast Lane debate. This debate gets heated once or twice a year and we just don't need it. TPR supports Fast Lane, Fast Lane Plus, and nearly all the 'skip the line' systems paid or free. If you don't, great! Let it go! Move on! Did part of Steel Vengeance fall off the other day!?!? -

^I think if you're okay with MF you should be okay but you also may want to lose a bit to be sure if you're going solely for the reason of getting on it! -

^Have you fit on other RMC's? From what I've heard it's basically the same as the others, but with longer seat belts. -

- Stayed there since I first posted in this thread. It's ridiculous. I have never been so happy to be woken up at 6am by them practicing an upcoming summer show in the lagoon at DisneySea! - Obviously amazing, but ever since we stayed at the Leofoo Resort in Taiwan I'm spoiled. It's a crazy ripoff of Animal Kingdom lodge where you're even closer to the animals. The only negative was the food offerings. I remember KT and I being quite hungry after dinner! - Nice, but I just can't get behind the Disneyland Resort Hotels as they're in the middle of Anaheim and not really 'resort-ish'. - KT is dying to stay here as she's now a fan of the 'SEA' storyline in Disney folklore. -

^^Great question! And just to throw it in there...the speed at which you take those final barrel roles is terrifying! -

^Two years ago there was not. KT and I used uber twice and would have wanted to use it more, but most of the time there were no cars. The two people we had drive us told us it wasn't very popular there. I'm hoping things have changed! We also tried to have GR call us a cab and they couldn't even get through to the numbers they had for local taxis! -

Don't believe everything you see online. From what I was told a lot of these freaking out videos were more 'staged' than you'd like to believe. -

Another random thought... Congratulations to Movie Park Germany for having not only the worst wooden coaster on the planet...but also a bottom ten steel! I actually like this park and I feel they're moving in the right direction. It will only get better when these coasters get bulldozed! -

IIRC - Most people went to Storm Chaser on a cold media day or early in the season and it didn't perform well. We brought a group late summer and it was running awesome! I'm guessing our group, plus others that went later or following years got much better rides than the people that first posted reviews. -

I have a lot of random thoughts, but not much time this morning!, so let's start with one! - I love that the first coaster to break the Intamin / RMC Stronghold on the top coasters is Phoenix! Perfect! -

^I know that the Mack family has personally told us they don't like the idea of Skip the Line systems *IF* they impact the normal guest experience. Cedar Fair parks used to say the same thing. Slowly the parks realize they can make a ton of money and not horribly impact the normal guests if they install the system correctly. Win for everyone! -
We've found most of the Asian parks to do this, they only list the operating calendar a few months at a time. I've come to plan trips to that region a year in advance so I can have an idea of their schedule for the next year. From what I understand both Disney and Happy Valley are open year round, but they may do more maintenance during off season months.

^THAT!!!!! -
It's a little bit of all of your reasons which all added up to a pretty easy day. The forecast yesterday was actually for rain all day which is more rare in Florida. Granted, it didn't actually rain for more than about an hour total, but forecasts can change a lot of peoples minds. All schools are in session around the world this week. Universal and Disney almost never see these absolute dead days anymore, but this week is pretty quiet.
