Hey all! Supercrack had an idea over on the Random Board for a 'weekly avatar theme'. I don't know about weekly, but we've decided to try it out starting Friday. There were some great suggestions made for our first theme, but since we're pretending to be a "theme park" site (masking our real love for rodents and donkeys) we've decided to go with: "All Things Vekoma" as our first theme. Go ahead and find, make, glue together a new avatar and switch over to it on Friday! Elissa "hope you like it!" Alvey

There's controversy over all of these 'organized events'. Anyone remember the craziness last year over the 'Arab' day at SFGAd??? Hey, at least that took the spotlight off of some of the Gay Days! Having worked in ticketing I can tell you that we more people call and complain about 'Arab' day that was happening at another park across the country than we ever had about 'Odyssey Night'. We also have had complaints about 'Country Music' day, 'PurimFest', hell even gospel and hallelujah jubilee! Again, let's keep it civil and remember that here in America, everyone hates everyone that's different than they are! Elissa "finds the country days much worse than the gay days!" Alvey

This was a pretty reliable rumor for the last 3 or 4 years now. Reasons it IS true: - PR woman quoted as saying 'they were watching Colossos very carefully, because they think that it would work well at SFGAd". - Intamin often signs multiride deals with parks - The park could use a wooden coaster - Seems like SFGAd is now getting the 'flagship, compete with CP' treatment instead of SFMM Reasons it ISN't True: - 2 Huge Cost, Big projects back to back - Six Flags has Problems with wood and Intamin - Hard to believe it would be confirmed before their current coaster even opens All I have to say is I'm going to be damn pissed if SFGAd gets two big intamin rides back to back while SFMM still basks in the glory of X and Deja Vu!!!!!
