That one is 105m (about 344 feet) tall. The Vegas wheel suffers from being surrounded by GIANT buildings which diminish its true size. Japan has several wheels all over 300 feet tall! -

I saw this earlier but didn't realize they had also themed the interior. Pretty cute! -

It's MUCH closer to Universal and Universal is rumored to be trying to buy up a lot of land in the I-Drive Area. -

^^Great article! Especially as someone who is quite a local to Universal. KT has play dates in Orange Tree (one of the communities mentioned) and Toscana (a community currently fighting Universal for destroying their foundations with the Volcano Bay construction!) and Universal is always there, loud and tall! It's silly to fight a big tourist project surrounded by other tourist attractions! -

I love Mitsui Greenland! And we had such wonderful weather! Nice TR! -
They gave us a little bit of help today. You'll be prompted to open Ollie's Box three times and you should get 25 Reels, 5 Water Balloons, and Popcorn or something.

^I think that's what hurts Universal's case. They didn't claim all of those other big tall lighted attractions were light pollution. All of a sudden this one is though. I assume they view this as real potential competition with their long term plans and that's why they're fighting it so hard. I'd be flattered if I were the SkyPlex people! -
Announcing "Skyline Attractions"
SharkTums replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I don't really know what to say. I don't see that this was a 'needed' product for the kids market and I can't believe it's coming from the guys that brought us Lightning Racer and other quality big rides. Maybe if it was cuter and looked like a couch I could see it working but it's really just a hybrid of one of those crazy house kids rides and a frog hopper. -

^Agreed. We're not even going to stay on property for our next visit. So over that resort. Shame they have such nice attractions! -
^Still 100 reels away from Lois after the changes in requirements to get them. Then this morning, we were back to using Popcorn again?! Ugh!

^Hopefully they take your constructive criticism into account. If you're going to do something like this it is important to use the right words, spelling, etc. -
Are you serious? It's not any magical rehabs in the OFFSEASON...it's the fact that there's an OFFSEASON resulting in many fewer cycles! IOA did not take the ride down as much as they could have which would have lengthened the lifespan of it. Instead they chose to 'run it into the ground' with almost no stops for 16 years, equalling out to something similar to a 25-30year life span. Robb is probably being 'snide' with you because of your attitude and not listening.

Bill! How can you not know about Gelatoni!?!? He debuted during Spring Voyage one year. Duffy and Shellie May were in Italy and Duffy dropped his gelato on the ground. Gelatoni used his tail to paint with the spilled gelato and they became great friends! Yes, I know all about Gelatoni as KT fell in love with him and we have a plush and more toys! -

^^Disney Park Blog ^Interesting. Yeah I looked it up and I guess they've done this once or twice before. Doesn't look like that big of a change but I surely love the name!! Shiriki -
Didn't get Meg's Friend. A little pissed as it seems that today or yesterday they DROPPED the requirements for film reels significantly of course after I had spent a ton trying to get them. Ugh.

I agree with this. Universal is showing more of an interest in developing areas on I-Drive and they see this as direct competition to their potential future plans when in fact they could all help each other.
