  4. Back to work after a long weekend. I need to look into buying some new ice skates on my lunch break today. I'm thinking a stiff new pair of Graf Supra 707's.

  10. Add me to the list of people who think Xcel's launch/ride is better then TTD or Kingda Ka. I love the punch out of the station on Xcelerator, instead of the huge run-up to speed on 400+ foot rocket coasters. -Sean

  13. So am I the only one who has figured out the name is going to change? I mean the ride is purple now, and purple can only mean pimping, or Prince, or Pringles, or portholes, or primer, or wait..... what was this thread about again? My guess for Superman's new theme is Purple People Pepsi Prince Power Prowler w/ Portholes Sponsored by Pringles. That should cover all of the whacky name bases I'm thinking. -Sean
  14. I'm actually more of a fan of the bottom line pricing on the boards above. Although adding the advertising lingo may sound nice at the beginning, some people may end up a bit confused and agitated when the actually see the prices add up at the cash register. I'm going on the fact that most people (GP) leave their brains in the car when they visit theme parks. Although the larger prices may carry a bit of shell shock at first, it's better then having to explain the add-on system a few hundred times a day, to people who thought that their $90.00 bucks got Q-Bot for their whole family. I think it just helps keep the confusion down for the staff and park guests. I do see your point though on the "wow" factor at first glance. I know my girlfriend and I both had the same thought when we visited SFGAdv last summer. (Yet we still paid the money and had an amazing day because of it.) -Sean

  22. I've tried to stay as a neutral lurker in this thread because I've never visited HRP, but I can't help myself anymore...... Is it just me or does SCC look more and more like Rod "I would like a liter of cola" Farva with every new avatar he posts? Outside of that, I'm just glad TPR got good footage of the park, just in case I never get a chance to visit.
  23. Here is the image from the link above. ^
  24. I'm headed down to L.A. for the West Coast Franchise Expo 2008, to do a bit of homework this weekend. I want out of town so bad that the long drive down I-5 sounds like fun at this point.
