Rampage shatters bones, Its pothole wrecked limb and spine, But DAMN it's so good! -
I still have people who I work with that have season passes to the park that SWEAR Teminator and Psyclone are the same ride but with new trains, fire, and audio. They told me "It's the same thing they did with X." I even showed them the pictures of Psyclone being ripped apart, but they still think it's the same damn ride! --Robb When I worked at RipCord at Cedar Point, I had a father walk by with his children, point to Gemini, and say, "Oh look kids, that coaster (points to Gemini) is part of that coaster over there (points at Mean Streak)."

That's a really short ride, I don't think it was worth the price tag. But that's just me. -
To be completely and entirely honest, I myself have broken height restriction rules by riding rides when I was too tall (I'm 6'5). The ride ops never stopped me, so I just rode. Had they said something, I wouldn't have put up a fight, but they didn't, so go me! I actually have 3 or 4 more credits than I should because I did this.

^ My friend, learn the rules Of syllables in Haiku Cause you look silly. -
Somehow this still doesn't appease parents. We tell them the manufacturer sets the guidelines and that if we were caught letting someone ride who wasn't inthose guidelines we would be heavily fined. And yet, they still don't listen. Some parents are just looking to raise hell for a free ticket. It's sad.

Flash Pass @ Six Flags Great Adventure
Skycoastin Steve replied to iplf's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I went there on a weekday at the very end of August last year and got a regular Flash Pass. The lines really weren't terrible at all, I think the longest I ever saw was 30-40 minutes, but we used the Passes anyway. We were able to get several re-rides on El Toro and other coasters without much trouble, and got every credit. The only credit we almost missed was the Mine Train because it was down for mechanical reasons for most of the day, but we got it prior to leaving. However, I did go in early July in 2005 and it was packed. -

^Very well put. A park is never truly "out of space." Remember there are some very smart people that plan these rides out. Just because the layman coaster geek can't spot a good place to squeeze in a new ride doesn't mean there isn't one. -
