  1. Since my broke ass does not have cable, I expect a full run-down of this movie.
  2. But even the small woodie cake in the front would suffice and i could make that. I just refuse to make my own birthday cake.
  3. On my next birthday, when I ask for a roller coaster cake and everyone tells me it can't happen, they get punched.
  4. As soeone who prefers airtime over speed, I'm glad it's intense. That means I'll probably like it.
  5. That's great but somehow I get the impression that ice Bat will have trouble obeying the club TPR code of conduct
  6. I really hope those costumes aren't flammable.
  7. Great pictures. I get to CA in 29 days!
  8. These are some of the best photos ever. And not just because the TPR members are so good looking.
  9. Unless I am counting wrong, SFGAm has 12 coasters. This can only become the 14th if another one will open at the same time.
  10. Here in Chicago, we have White Castle everywhere. Bad neighborhoods, nice neighborhoods. There are 2 within walking distance of my house. Back in my BD days (before diabetes), I used to eat there a few times a week and you do develop a resistance to the digestion issues that can occur with less frequent consumption. If I had some now, I'd probably be typing this on my laptop from my bathroom. Regardless, on a breezy day, when the scent of steam grilled grade Z beef comes wafting by, the temptation is nearly overwhelming. Here's a tip if you have to settle for the frozen supermarket version: buy some hamburger dill pickles also. They are missing from the frozen burgers and are much needed for the full effect. The greatest thing about White Castle is the belch. It allows you to enjoy the taste for 12 hours or more after you've finished and the scent makes it enjoyable for those around you also.
  11. In Feb. 2002, I rode Speed: The Ride 92 times in one day.
  12. 20/20. Due to long days with nothing to do but browse RCDB.
  13. Unfortunately, that won't happen. Half the family owns the land and half the family owns the park. The landowners feel they can get more money by selling the land to someone else rather than continuing to lease it to the family that owns Kiddieland. The sad thing is, the original owner willed it half and half that way to ensure the park would continue. They've been battling in court about it for years and now it's over and we all lose.
  14. I've gone to Kiddiland every year for the last 5 as there was always talk of it closing and Little Dipper was my first coaster. Now it's officially closing after this summer. What really sucks is that it's not even a low turn-out issue. It's family squabbles over the land. Little Dipper is so small, someone must have room in their backyard for it. The average suburban Chicago yard does.
  15. Hi Y'all I'm Jymmy, yes that is spelled correctly. I'm born and raised in Chicago and my home park is Six Flags Great America. I've been on about 150 coasters but don't have an exact number as I am not a credit whore. Not that I have a problem with them. Or any whore for that matter. I'm currently unemployed as I did administrative work for auto dealerships who are all cutting staff. Ironically, I do not drive. I love music, my dogs and cats, tattoos and incredibly inappropriate and offensive humor. I find TPR's trip reports and dvds to be the best, most entertaining of all the coaster sites.
