  1. OH MY GOD I WOULD MOVE NEXT DOOR AND NEVER LEAVE
  2. Alright, now that the thread has slowed down considerably, let me bring this to the public eye - The corkscrew sections. This is Magic Mountain, home to arguably the worst-behaved guests in the world. How many people are going to get spit on? How many people are going to have stuff thrown at them / dropped on them? Yes, the ride will be moving at a good speed so the spit option might be off the table, but there's still a very real chance of idiots doing idiot things because they're idiots. Back when Geauga Lake was open I was in line for X-Flight (or whatever they called the Vekoma flyer there) and when the train went into the first swoop after the drop (it passed directly over the queue) the entire front row of teenagers actually hawked huge loogies into the crowd. Luckily I was spared but the woman 5 feet from me got some nice new hairgel that day.
  3. ^ Metaphollercoaster? X2 has the 3rd and 4th rails that control precisely how the seats are positioned at any given moment. The Free Fly design uses magnets placed at strategic locations along the track to influence the direction of the spin. You may flip, you may not, but they're there to give you a push in the right direction.
  4. Or, you know, Six Flags has an exclusivity deal on RMC's technology. Because they do.
  5. General park improvements are always welcome. Are they going to be improving their horrifying customer service, as well?
  6. HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!
  7. ^ He's press / media. Of course they get the heads up.
  8. Rubber burns pretty well. Tomorrow's announcement is gonna be one helluva bonfire.
  9. I just pooped a little. Mack has been hitting home runs for the past few years and I can't wait to see what madness they unveil on Friday.
  10. If that's the case then that ride has been looooooooooong dead and gone and has no relevance for the current remodel. Also what I said was relevant, just not apparently relevant to fanboys. The ride was crap when I rode it (2009) and was the same crap when it closed. It'll be re-worked into something incredible. End of story.
  11. What this guy said. I don't understand the sudden outpouring of love for this coaster. Yeah, in its original form I'm sure it was great. After it got butchered with the new first drop the thing moved slower than molasses in winter. I had more faith in Anaconda at Walygator making it through the course - [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
  12. "Technically" my butt. It IS a wooden coaster. There's no wiggle room on that one, same as Outlaw Run.
  13. ^ This man speaks the truth. I visited last September towards the end of the month on a Tuesday. We rode Xcelerator 5 times in a row, front row, without getting up from the seats. Not a single line anywhere all day. The longest wait we had was two trains for the front of Ghostrider.
  14. Holy balls I go away for a day and I come back to 5 pages of whining about a twisty drop. Edit - Looks like Jew took care of that note...
  15. With all this sudden talk about Batman...I'm just gonna re-up this -
