I know, but what's the policy in the USA? Over here it's more of less accepted that if you leave the queue line for whatever reason, you have to start over again (unless you're a child maybe). It's like an unwritten law. And maybe it even is written down in some parks. Security isn't too active in our Belgian parks, but there's one park with a higher riskfactor (teenagers fighting and juping the queues etc.) and they kick them out of the line or out of the park if more people confirm what happened.
-
This might be SFMM related, or just a standard policy in the USA... But what's the procedure on cutting in front of people? Like walking through the whole queue saying 'excuse me'? I saw 2 girls do that at Terminator, and I was so pissed that I told the employee before you go inside the building, what I saw. She called security and they came over and had a little chat with the girls and with me, and the girls again... blablabla. Eventually, they came back and told me that they had a group waiting in the queue and that they had to go to the bathroom, and came back. I never saw them leaving the queue, so I think it's major bullsh*t, but they weren't kicked out of the line or anything. In fact, they got to wait like right behind us, and never met up with the so called group that they left...

I might get sh*t for this, but well. I apologise in advance if I use the wrong words, or wrong grammar, cause I'm not a native English speaker. - Isn't it normal that they only allow 1 person with a handicapped person? Only one person can actually sit next to you? Maybe 3 would be reasonable so you can enjoy your day together the whole time and some rides have 4 seats nex to each other... but 8? That's ridiculous and not necessary at all. In my opinion that's the same as skipping the line. - If a queue line is totally wheelchair accessible I think it's only normal that you wait like anybody else. If you have a mental disorder, it's a different thing. But where do you draw the line? - The public apology was indeed not necessary and actually rude, but in one way or another, the ride OP explaining that it's not really fair to board before others, has a point in my opinion. If someone is not able to physically wait in line (due to steps, or a disorder or whatever) I'd love to give up my seat, but when that's not the fact I don't think one should board sooner than the other (unless he pays for a fastpass).

Well, in Europe the safety regulations are less strict... But what I found annoying was that once the light popped green, the operator would open the gate, would then slowly let you walk to your slide, then give some instructions and then would allow you to go (and usually not all the slides were filled). Everybody in our group wondered why they cleared the wave pool every hour... Is it for looking for dangerous items in the pool, or anything else?

Wow! In this heat, that would have been a deal breaker for me! At TPR Termination Day we had to refill our bottles after almost every ride. Glad you got all your credits in and liked the park! Being a heavy drinker (no alcohol) that was my plan too. Luckily the dining places served free cups of ice cold water cause I just refused to pay over 4 USD for a coke. I was really pissed off though. Went to SFHH today and the bottles were back. Offtopic: What a lame park is SFHH? The slides are pretty good, but due to horrible operations (losing SOOO much time) the waiting line for almost every slide was over 20 minutes, and then I'm not even talking about the popular ones.

I had an awesome day and managed to do all the big rides. + Deja Vu was down from about 5 pm till 8 but they fixed it on time, awesome. + X2 opened at 11.30 but we were allowed to stand in line before the actual waiting line and walk under security surveillance to the ride, when it opened. Very good again. And I was first at the entrance, haha. + I think Tatsu was down at some point but in the evening it was running again. Im not sure about it breaking down though. ------- All the refill cups (or whatever its called) were sold out. How the hell is that even possible? They also refused to sell the wristband and just put the drinks in the other cups. Some people managed to buy the refill cups though in the morning. I really dont get this.

SFMM! I'm so psyched! -
I'm selling 2 tickets for Six Flags Magic Mountain. They can be used till June 30. I'm selling them for 27 USD for the 2 tickets together, so that's an amazing deal. I wont be home after this Friday, so I have to sell them before Friday. I hope someone will help me out and buy these tickets, cause it's a serious bargain If I don't sell them within 24 hours, I'll put them on Ebay, but I'd hate to do that!

Being from Belgium, I can guarantee you it's not dismantled. It just won't open this year. There are a lot of rumours going on about this, but many of the Belgian fans think they'll just dismantle it after the season, like they did with Tornado. The operation cost for Turbine is huge, and they made the decision to not open the ride, pretty close to the new season. That's why we all think it has done its last rides, last season. And the neighbours complain a lot about the noise, so we probably won't see a new coaster there.

I would never wear that, but it's stupid that you're not allowed wearing something like that. In Belgium, in some places you HAVE to wear as Speedo. For example at Aqualibi near Walibi Belgium (Belgium's biggest attractions park). And you're right about the male/female comparison. Same stuff goes for dining at a restaurant or anything. Usually men aren't allowed to wear shorts, but women can wear the shortest skirts they want! -

I'm selling 2 tickets for Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Los Angeles for 25 USD for the 2 tix together. I bought them during the special SF-sale, not knowing they were only valid till June 30. I would really appreciate it if someone would help me out. I'm from Belgium, so it'll be pretty hard for me to sell those tickets. Mail me at maarten_swijsen@hotmail.com or post here please.

Damn, I'm stupid. Just bought 2 Hurricane Harbor (Magic Mountain) tickets, only to realise they're valid till June 30th... And I'm going in July. If anyone wants those hurricane harbor tickets for the same price I bought them for. Drop me a line please! maarten_swijsen@hotmail.com

Photo Trip Report - Thorpe Park

I'm going this Tuesday. I'm just hoping all the rides will work! Would be such a shame to fly over only for Thorpe Park, and missing a credit because the ride's down... -

Can't believe you like Eurosat. For me, that was one of the worst, if not thE worst Europa Park-coaster. Blue Fire is pretty awesome, especially that superslow cobraroll! Very nice waiting line as well! -
MAGIC MOUNTAIN FOR FIRST TIMERS

July 20 is a weekday, but you have to keep in mind that it is the summer [school is out] and Six Flags primarily appeals to youth, young adults, etc. In other words, there will be more people there than if it was a school day. I don't know how big it gets (crowded wise), I haven't been there since like 2005, but I would expect it to get a decent crowd as it picks up into the day. You should enjoy the first couple of hours with little crowd, people, lines if you head to the opposite end of the park (toward Goliath, etc) rather than toward X2 right when you enter the park. I'm not sure if they have tightened up the security procedures, but they don't allow you to walk in (that is you have to be screened (bombs, knifes, you know, etc). However, I doubt they would confiscate or not allow you to enter the park if you had a water bottle...it's really hot here!!! and some food? I don't bring food, but I make sure I bring a water bottle....and I just leave the park early (and walk to wendy's that is adjacent to the park, go to the gas station (AMPM) and then return to the park and ride for a several more ours). There's no reason that they should tell you not to bring water. That would be ridiculous just considering our climate. I've nearly got dehydrated here in the park. lmao. Well @ 10:30, try 9:50, 10 solid. Many of these people like to run to X(x2) but if you get there early you'll have a solid place in line and should get to ride whatever your wish ride (whatever ride you want to ride first) without any line....several times and more! I live about an hour away from Six Flags MM and I'd say around 7:30-8 PM. Hhahaha I'm basing this on just today, actually haha. But I'd say that's accurate. Enjoy your trip. Thanks! We're staying in the Best Western, so I guess we'll be picking up some water in advance, and leave the park to eat, cause prices are seriously rediculous inside the park! -

Safety?! What's wrong with the safety in the front rows? The other rows are exactly the same! Last year everything was normal! I really don't get it... Do you know anything more about it? Anyway, glad you liked Troy, Loefet! I really like it too, it's the best woodie I've ridden so far. And I'm still enjoying the TR, can't wait to see the rest! Keep up the good work Just checked the Belgian messageboard Themeparkvision and apparantly it has something to do with the safety during winter periodes. But that's just a rumor. -

Yeah the skies were awesome until we got back to Germany... Yes all the cars had the first row blocked of, no idea why, maybe they wanted to increase the realism of the cars by only having 4 riders/car like the big ones in the winter games... I believe it had something to do with safety.
