  1. The last time I was on it, thunder won. I was like OMG where are they? I look at the lift hill, and sure enough, Lightning was stuck. I agree with all who say Hershey is going with modern fads and all. If they had all of the park looking as nice as the front, they wouldn't have to keep up with the times as much. Front=great rides, great scenery. Middle=Great rides, Meh scenery. Back=Good and okay rides, nonexistent scenery.
  2. Very cool. So the seats move in and out. Must be powerful pistons to hold people in through the helix tunnel thing.
  3. Chick-fil-A is closed on sundays in New Jersey.
  4. My dad accessed the mobile thing on his Blackberry, all it said was the best time of day to ride, not the real-time status. Has it changed? Which color train did you happen to be on?
  5. Yeah. Sent the other kid running home crying. Same kid started a second time and he had a nose bleed.
  6. You have to remember that Hershey owns a ton of the land out there. They have many of those houses out there being used as offices. Relocate about 10 or 20 of those offices and: BANG! More space for the park. Even with the road there, build a few bridges over it and the problem is solved. By the way, do you think they will continue their 3 year addition streak?
  7. Intamin. B&M makes only a few types of roller coasters while Intamin produces next to everything. Hersheypark's Fahrenheit pushes me over to Intamin even more, though SFGAdv's Nitro pulls me back to B&M. El Toro breaks the tie, since I prefer wood over steel. Oh crud. I forgot about Great Bear, but then again, Fahrenheit is a wild animal while Great Bear is more like a Tuna. Fast, but predictable.
  8. Even if they did suck, the game and just Wacky Worlds is 29.99
  9. Compare these: http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=63221 http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=35635 Now tell me, how does that make sense?
  10. In Philadelphia, hit Tony Luke's for cheese steaks. Make sure you go to the silver building, not the restaurant across the street. Go to:www.tonylukes.com
  11. Because we go lending off our space shuttles to random Japanese theme parks. Classic.
  12. Hershey's Lightning Racer Above View!
  13. No contest. Heshey owns Dorney any day.
  14. WHAT!? No mention of the kettle corn? Larry, you disappoint me. Wow I totaly over passed those two! Movieguy: No chicken killing, just singing cows.
  15. First, look at the map on Hershey's web site. Next, are you going to the water park? If not, when you get in, head straight towards Midway America. Go to pioneer frontier next. After that, cross a bridge into Minetown. Head into Comet Hollow and ride what you wish. That sums up all of the coaster sections. Some "Must Rides" with the suggested time of day are: Storm runner:Early, Farrenheit:Good luck sucker!,Lightning Racer: Just avoid mid-day, Great Bear: Always has a long queue. Chocolate world gives you free chocolate if you go on the tour. Hope this helps!
  16. Here in New Jersey were taking the "New Jersey Assesment of Skills and Knowledge" (NJ ASK). Such a drag. Language Arts was boring, now for math. I've been dreaming of my theme park trips in the summer.
  17. Yes. Have you ever been to Hersheypark?
  18. My friends and I were at Dorney and this girl with a broken arm got on a roller coaster (I have yet to remember) and she said "Is this ride scary?" My friend says "Yeah, I almost fell off because I only held on with one hand." The look on her face was priceless. She got off of the ride, walks up to my friend, and slaps him so hard.
  19. Wow. Throwing your child 30 feet is such a great idea. Forced was just put in to make the person look better.
  20. I'm glad I'm not the only one....but of course I will still go to the park. Nothing beats smelling those pit roast beef sandwiches...YUM I hear you about those sandwiches!
  21. My home parks, in order from closest to farthest, are Clementon Park, SFGAdv , Hersheypark, and Knoble's. I love both Hershey and SFGAdv, but I go to Hershey more often because my family likes it better since it has more things for the non-coaster fanatics to do. Clementon is sub-par for rides , but has a nice water park, If you don't mind long lines. Oh yeah, the log flume at Clementon is very good, but for sheer drop, Knoble's can't be beat. Knoble's is getting a new Bobsleigh coaster, so I'm going to try to get there.
  22. My home park is SFGAdv. I love the Roller Coasters, especially Nitro. The actual park experience isn't as good as Hersheypark though.
  23. Sorry, I didn't make that connection.
  24. Ccron10, why is it slim that FH might be open? I was on it in '08.
