If you go on most days you can get numerous re rides, I rode Medusa and Roar 4 times each on a promotional day (although the majority of the riding happened while the concert was going on)

Back on media/kroq day, audio was full blast, I honestly think I prefer it deafeningly loud over so quite you can't really hear it

^Can you please tell us what the KD coaster will be like then? It would end lots of useless speculation

If I had to take a restraint guess, I'd say Bizarro restraints with seatbelts

No amusement park is desperate enough to try to fool just enthusiasts

Maybe the evil lord Xenu switched the tags on KD's coaster In all seriousness, KD is getting a giga, and Carowinds will probably be getting the red B&M mega.

This certainly makes me wanna put my pass to good use around then, I hope they go all out, or at least do enough to warrant it a decently different experience from what you get now.

^I went on 12/26 last year, Medusa, Boomerang, and V2 were all closed, and the coasters were running 1 train operation All the water rides were closed as well

With all that extra bracing on the track, this ride will probably need about 2 supports to hold it up

^An enclosed soup bowl, hell just a soup bowl alone couldnt really interfere with another ride, it would need its own space for most if not all of it

^He had a very valid question, he asked if there was a preview event on the 22nd if it would be open on the 23rd. There is a chance it will be, and a chance it wont. For instance, when SFMM opened Terminator, media day and the KROQ event (which was awesome) was 2 days before the ride opened. So if the ride is only open to the radio station and media etc, there is an equal chance of it being open and not open the next day

This isnt coaster porn!!! There was nothing going through a loop, and no through the trees shots, this is just your standard day of amusement park intercourse caught on tape!

^RnR is pretty much an amped up FoF, sure the layout is a bit different and it has a different manufacturer. But they are both enclosed launched soup bowl coasters, only RnR has much more extra sensory effects to it, therefore it's amped up. I highly doubt SFMM would go after one of these though

It's a real shame that you couldn't ride Roar, but it sounds like you had a great day, I love the vekoma nerd shot, it's too bad I couldnt get a picture of the word "Intamin" on v2's wheel. This has been a really great thread though, awesome job

You have one damn fine camera there, those were some great X2 shots, you should enter them into that photo contest, that picture of the train behind the flames was dynamite

Processing opens with the park, but there is a shorter line for people who do it online, there practically isnt any wait for it at all, and Friday would certainly be the best day to go, the weekends are much worse
