I have no doubt they could make a horror movie just around someone riding that contraption. -

Pardon my ignorance on this topic, but since these coasters still have a cult following and provide a good punch is it possible for parks to buy clones of these. I know that many probably aren't interested because of the latest and greatest coming out every year, but you can't beat a good ride like these. I'm afraid they are going to be lost for future generations because of age, etc. -

I'm sorry it has taken me a couple of days to post this but my Secret Santa did an AWESOME job! I have no idea they wouldhave picked something so perfect considering I didn't even mention anything about these two loves! Hello! My Secret Santa package has arrived! It even came with a card! How sweet! I'll let you read it and share the joy. The only problem is I don't have a bicycle pump. My goodies came wrapped! Exhibit #1 - A BAZINGA ID card holder. I literally SQUEEED when I opened this. This is the first of my two favorite things! Big Bang Theory.... and the Barenaked Ladies! AWESOME! My new friends nod in approval! Thank you SANTA!!!! I look forward to shopping for my person this weekend. I just realized I never posted what I liked. I like ANYTHING theme park related and have been limited in my explorations outside of the Southeast US, so I would love something from ANYWHERE! My tshirt size is XL. Overall, I will LOVE anything fun and off the wall, too. -
Your parents' old Christmas tree topper was an anal bead tower?

Sign me up! I LOVED what I received last year. -
Opryland was a fun park. The Screamin' Delta Demon is the only bobsled coaster I have ever ridden. I wish there were more around. I loved it!

^ I understand that but everything is as scary as this year's Halloween Horror Nights....including the Wacky Factory at Lake Winnie. -

Is that really saying much though? -
I'm honestly surprised the Rhodes family is investing this much in a project. After seeing what they did to the Wacky Factory, I thought all "new" attractions were going to be done on the cheap. The Fireball was a nice addition this year. Although not my cup of tea, the general public was excited to see a "new coaster" even though it can be found at many carnivals.

I couldn't be happier of my little home park. FINALLY they are living up to their potential. They honestly need to offer a season pass but last year they mentioned on their FB page that it would cost upwards of $150 per person which isn't economical for most. This family owned park has come a long way, but they still have a long way to go. I am hoping this is the catalyst for something big for them in the future.

When I got home from work yesterday, I was excited to find my Secret Santa TPR package. And when I looked at the return address, it was from Austell, GA. There is only one thing in Austell worth mentioning so I became super excited. Please forgive the quality of my photos...I had to use my Blackberry. Hello, box full of goodies waiting to be unleashed on the world! As it turns out, my thoughts were confirmed with each item I pulled out. A Great American Scream Machine t-shirt. It's playtime with a Mr. Six t-shirt! Dare Devil Dive schwag! A keychain and earbuds. A Six Flags 45th Anniversary commemorative map...this is being framed and put up in my office at work. The best "dark comedy" about an amusement park ever made....FUNLAND!!!! And best of all....four passes to Six Flags Over Georgia and Six Flags Whitewater for the 2012 season. My 3-year-old daughter is going to get her first taste of Six Flags next summer! AWESOME!!!!! My stash in all of its glory. Thank you, mysterious Santa that obviously has a HUGE Six Flags Over Georgia fetish. You rock! And thanks to Brandy for helping coordinate! And a special thank you to my Secret Santa....a friend in the world of public relations.
