  1. I am with Elissa here. They are taking things out to put these in. What about the height requirements?
  2. I may get flack for this but I would like to see Flashback from Magic Mountain. I know it was probably a boring coaster but it looks neat.
  3. Hey now, speak for yourself only. I actually like Rolling Thunder. To each their own that is what I say. I like classic old white rough wooden coasters. I would rather them get rid of Green Lantern or Superman than Rolling Thunder. I think both are boring coasters. But that is my opinion and a lot of people do not agree with me. If they do get the drop tower on the side of Kingda Ka I sure hope they are ready for all the issues with wind like in Magic Mountain. From my experience that goes down a lot due to high winds. I could be wrong so I apologize if I am.
  4. Come To Life - Marie Digby
  5. Ultra Twister at Six Flags America where it sat and rotted away behind the hill at the back of the park.
  6. Note To God - Charice
  7. ^ I love my home park. Its not the best and its not the worst. It is kinda just there and I can go for a day of fun if I go with the right people who won't tear it apart. This park has come A LONG way in just 2 seasons. The park is FINALLY clean and they are starting to update signs/paint all over the park which was mentioned above. All they really need is to start adding rides, primarily flats. They have lost so many flats over the years. Sundays are usually not crowded at all in the park. You will not need Flash Pass more than likely. Get there when the park opens and as long as every coaster is up and running (they are getting 100% better with this) you will have all them all finished in 2 hours if that. There are not many flats so you could potentially have the entire parks (minus water park and if you like a lot of the spinny flats) finished in a about 4-5 hours. The draw for this park is the water park. If you go over there the lines can get to about 25-30 minutes for the bigger attractions (Tornado, Half Pipe, Bonzai Pipelines) but that is more on Saturdays. Schools starts the next day is most of MD so many people will probably not stay till closing. I would use that to your advantage. The EFX 2.0 show near the front of the park is the most decent show if you ask me. Keep in mind to just take the park for what it is. Its clean and there are rides there, nothing spectacular. Try to focus more on having fun instead of criticizing everything about the park. I always tell people this when I go with them. I was thinking about going to the park Sunday as well.
  8. ^ I think the same thing. Both Six Flags Great Adventure and Six Flags New England have such a better feeling to them and both parks have a better selection of rides. You would think with Baltimore only 45 minutes and DC 15 minutes from the park they would use this to their advantage. Sadly, people in Baltimore/DC would rather travel to Hershey, Knoebels, BGW, Kings Dominion, Six Flags Great Adventure, Kennywood, etc. over Six Flags America. Mostly because of PAST experience. There are so many people that have been to the park in the past and had terrible experiences so now they are not willing to go back and give the park another shot. The park used to have terrible customer service and it used to be really dirty. Also it does not help the park has had stabbings in the water park as well as gun shots in the parking lot with people fighting over parking spaces.
  9. There is a Carabba's not too far. I always use Google Maps to find food near parks.
  10. I LOVED Morey's! I had such a blast the whole day there. Over all Wildwood is a really nice beach town. Way better than Ocean City, MD which I am used to. I Loved all the coasters. The SLC is insane with all the leg chopping. The restraints are amazing and EVERY SLC should have them. I love the modification to the lay out so it would fit into the park. The Great White is a pretty good coaster in my opinion, definitely a better ride in the back. The front was pretty boring to me. I love the drop out of the station. I enjoyed the pirates boat ride a lot. The walk through haunted house (the ride I was looking forward most to) is really well themed but it was not scary. They only had about 5 actors in the entire thing. I LOVED Mealstorm. I have not ridden one of them in years and I forgot how fun they are. The log flume is well done and I actually really enjoyed theirs.
  11. Do It Like A Dude - Jessie J
  12. Ride of Steel: Back is the best in my opinion. I LOVE getting whipped over that first drop. I am not someone who cares for air time too much, I much prefer being whipped around by a coaster. Goes to show everyone is different. Joker's Jinx: Front because of all the head chopping along the ride. Wild One: Back to get whipped through the ride. The front is very boring in my opinion. Apocalypse: SKIP!! Just kidding. The front seems to be the best for less head banging. Roar: I prefer the back because of how violent it can be but if you prefer air time and less violent ride the front. Mind Eraser: I prefer the front because I get more head hanging in the back. Food: I always eat at Panda Express or Subway. But that is only because I am more health conscious. Depending on how many are in your group, the pizza places have a deal with a pizza and 4 drinks for like $40-50 I believe. Flats: Penguins Blizzard River can be fun if you like spinning rides and get a raft that actually spins. I have a soft spot in my heart too for Falling Star - awesome ride. The drop tower may be small but its still pretty good. I also like Rodeo but they require two people. All the rest are blah and boring.
  13. ^ Two days will be more than enough time to hit everything in the park. They allow platinum pass members (I believe) in earlier then other guest. Sometimes Dominator/Berserker opens up a little earlier then everything else since they are both the only rides in the front of the park. With out a Fast Pass Volcano will have a long line. I would go straight there and then Intimidator. But only if you are trying to rush. With two days I would not worry about it. Whenever I go to a park I start with something and work than my way around the park. I do not get the jumping all around. That is not enjoyable to me. Anyway... there are lots of hotels within 20 minutes of the park. There is one right in the parking lot but its usually really pricey. I usually stay a little bit south of the park and have about a 10-15 minute drive to the park. I suggest using Google Maps to figure out where the hotels are and then calling the hotels direct. It is a holiday weekend so I would start looking now. Some hotels have minimum night stays over holiday weekends.
  14. It is the general migration of people. As people our natural reaction is move to the right - It is drilled in our heads from infancy to stay to the right. So when most people walk into any park they tend to go to the right, in this case into Comet Hallow. I always go to the left no matter which park I am. I usually end my trips at Hershey with rides on Skyrush once the line drops to 30 min or less. I have never waited more than 30 minutes for it.
  15. Love Me For Me - Bomshel
  16. The Great Nor'Easter - Morey's - My favorite SLC. I loved how even the staff was telling the patrons its the best one since they have better restraints.
  17. ^ If you do not mind no amenities on a plane I would go with Southwest. I always fly them anywhere in the US I go if they fly where I am going. Prices are cheap and they allow 2 free checked bags as well as a carry on. Plus if you have to cancel no worries they let you keep your credit until you are ready to use it. They have specials all the time, just sign up for their email blast. There are many hotels in the area near CP that not CP owned that are cheap. I used Google Maps to find mine (Mecca Hotel) and than booked it via Priceline since it was part of pay when you stay. It was literally 10 minutes from the park. I paid $55 a night where the Breakers Express was going to charge me $90 a night and I was only 5 minutes further away. Now my hotel was falling apart and needed a MAJOR make over. It was clean though and that is all I was worried about.
  18. I am weird. If I go to a advertised scary event I want to be scared and/or terrified. The sad thing I scare so easily but never at amusement park haunted attractions. Well minus Knoebels Haunted Antique Cars - they were pretty scary to me.
  19. Rhythm Divine - Enrique Iglesias
  20. ^ I was surprised they made that with the first one bombing in the USA. After I researched I saw how well it did over seas and that is why the second was made. It is the same with Kick Ass too.
  21. Good Cornstalkers was terrible. Club Blood has the best theming of all the haunted attractions. Now if only they were scary.
  22. This is actually the first bad review I've herd for this movie. Everyone else says its crafty, scary, unpredictable but your review makes me wonder. It is the only bad review I have read too (sadly my own review) lol I just think its really bad. The acting is so bad in it. Also keep in mind I am not into mixing horror and comedy. I do not want to give anything away but I want to share how I feel about so many scenes.
  23. ^ I agree. B&M's are quite fun. I enjoyed all of the ones I ave ridden.
  24. I have noticed this too with Roar. Sometimes they do not let you and sometimes they let you. This goes to show not every group of employees is following protocol.
