Awesome updates! Blue Streak is such an awesome coaster. I really hope they can pull that park back to where it belongs. It is so beautiful there and its hard to find a park with so many trees and shade. -

I agree! We should celebrate coming out every day. This past weekend was Baltimore Pride and I had such a blast! Yesterday was the festival part we have in a park in the city. My family and I always stay at the drag stage all day because my mom loves watching the drag queens/kings perform. There was a drag king who came out and started performing Marry Me by Bruno Mars. I love the song and started singing along. I than looked over to my right and I noticed that all of his friends were filming his performance - now not like just one or two. There were at least 5 people filming the performance. I thought to myself why are they all filming its not like its this amazing performance. He was just standing there mouthing the words. Than one of his friends brought this girl up to him. I thought it was just people having good fun. Well the guy singing got down on one knee and pulled out a ring. So it was her GF that was brought down. I was in instant tears. I was so excited that the first proposal I ever witnessed was a gay one. It brought back all the awesome thought out and creative proposals I have witnessed on YouTube. I am so happy we have marriage now in MD

^ I will agree. The only place I ever really see a line is the water park and flats. They have a really good amount of flats and what is why I love this park. Even though sometimes on the weekends there seems to be a little line for some coasters. I know when I was there for Coasting for Kids, since we were using a train just for us the line did get to the bottom of the steps. So that would mean (to me) if they were using both trains I would think the station would at least be full. Something about this park I LOVE. To me it still has that classic park feel and even though it has some very open areas there are still lots of trees and greenery in my opinion. I am not sure if the own all of the land around the pond towards the back of the park or not but I would love to see them expand the park out around the pond and incorporate it more into the park. I noticed they are not using the go carts this year. Any one know any reason in particular?

^ Mean Girls is my favorite movie! I remember seeing it 3 times in the theater and I bought it the day it came out on DVD. My new guilty pleasure is reading books that celebrities write either about their selves or stories they make up. Right now I am reading Farrah Abraham's (Teen Mom fame) book about the "journey of her BF dying and raising her baby alone".

^ I rarely want to see action hero movies but this new Superman movie actually looks really good. I will be giving it a shot and this is coming from someone who has not seen any of the recent Iron Man, Avengers, or Batman movies. I saw a preview of The Heat last night and I will admit its really funny. Melissa McCarthy is simply hilarious in it and the chemistry between her and Sandra is awesome. Why it took Melissa so long to break into the scene is beyond me. She was one of the best parts of Bridesmaids and was extremely funny in Identity Thief. Some of the scenes could have been toned down just a tad but I see why the audience thought these were funny scenes. I like one liners and there are lots of them in this movie.

Coasting for Kids was a huge success yesterday at Dorney. I could not have ask for a better time. This year the park was very organized and had everything well thought out. It was nice of them to give us a dedicated train on each coasters through out the day. It was great to see some people I have not seen in a while and get my friend to Dorney for his first time.

do you mean Brenham, Texas? (I'm assuming typo here ) it's almost exactly 1/2 way between Austin & Houston (close to College Station), and is famous for two things: 1) it's considered the Heart of Bluebonnet Country (tons of flower trails) & 2) it's home to Blue Bell Ice Cream Creameries -- you can take a tour! It really is the best damn Ice Cream in the Country! glad you got to visit someone in real life, and hope it works out. hugs, bert Yes, I meant Brenham. I loved it there. I come from Baltimore so I am used to everything so close and everyone on top of one another. I really like the area a lot. I like that it is kinda country but yet still close enough to Houston if I wanted to get a taste of the city. I will have to tell the guy I am seeing to show me some of these trails - we both do like to do outdoor activities. YES!!!! I LOVED Blue Bell Ice Cream. I tried a few flavors when I was there and Kevin actually took me to the factory to get a sample - too bad the factory tour was closed that day. My favorite flavor is Crazy kookie Dough!

What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?

Last row on Superman: Ride of Steel at Six Flags America. I prefer the Darien Lake version now that I have been there.
