I'm with coasterbill. I do not see the point why they took out Laser. For me its simply the maintenance nightmare Stinger has become. I do think Stinger is a more fun ride because you get to face your friends and I love going backwards on coasters, but I would prefer Laser still be there because it did not have any many issues as this coaster. I do think they should take it out and replace it with something custom. They have not received a custom coaster in a while.

They have not ran two trains in years on that. The double station was a great idea in theory and when it first opened they used both. This park just does not have the guest numbers for them to used two.

You are right David. I don't like to be in people's face with it, if ask though I am open. When someone says to describe myself being gay is not the first place I go. And Billy, I just may have.

Looking good so far. I hope to make the trip up there to ride it once its complete. Hopefully TPR does another east coast trip and hits this park in the next few years.

Schlitterbahn Galveston Memorial Day weekend - I know I should be going to New Braunfels and I will eventually go more than once this summer. My BF said we could give Galveston a try even though its nothing like its sister park since neither of us have ever been.

Yes, they do sometimes. It all depends on the crowds. I went to the park about 5 times the past two season - all on Saturdays and SROS never had two trains. I have not been this year because I moved away from MD so maybe things have changed. If you get there when they open you won't need Flash Pass. You can literally get all credits in less then 3 hours. Then use the rest of your time for re-rides.

I love coming here and reading the post. I have been victim of this thread myself. Back when I was more ignorant to how rides worked.

The worst operations I ever ran into were at La Ronde.

I have spoken with management at a few parks. It does not really cost a park more to actually run a ride with two trains. The lift hill is still going to run weather its two trains or not, its just how many times it runs. Which in reality these mechanisms are designed for the wear and tear.

Agreed! I find a lot of people and groups take the word gay and ... well, it's sometimes an embarrassment. I'm coming to terms with it; there is a place and purpose for all that, I just don't understand it fully. At the end of the day I don't have to understand it, but at the same time I don't have to be a part of it. There are reasons for the "acting-out" of our brethren in all it's forms; comes with the territory. I figure I can represent myself with the word Gay how I like. So I do now It doesn't have to be about my body, my sexual preferences or gossip. It can be about coasters and a simple healthy sense of what I consider pride/self-acceptance. "Hey, we're everywhere... don't panic... no big deal." I have a thing for re-appropriating words. You nailed it. I could not agree more.

Love the Scrambler ride! I am glad to see parks still putting them in. One of my faves is Hersheyparks.
