You should have entered this in my photo contest. It would have had a very good chance of winning. (Of course with that being said, I can't accept it as an entry now).

Nice TR. Just a shame you didn't feature any of the flats...of which there are a ton. You did a great job of showing the scenery though. WoF is one of the "greener" parks I've been to. And I was surprised at how much speed Prowler keep right up to the breaks. It definitely hauls some ass!

I'd especially like to hear about how you managed to finance a project like this...and in this economy! Seriously, this is so awesome. Congratulations and though I will probably never get to visit, it makes me proud that one of us actually "made it." Just promise me that when you add the mat racer, you make the finish line paint on it black and white checkers. It annoys me to no end that most racers I've been on/seen do the checkers but do not switch the color to black & white. I know it can be done.

Is it just me or is that an OBSCENE amount of pickles? Did you guys even come close to eating them all? Didn't they know it wasn't an ACE event?

I like the new sign. Oh wait, that's off topic! How does Magnum compare to the Morgan hypers? I've only gotten to ride Mamba. I thought it was a great ride (especially the helix). My one complaint is that the seat could use a little more padding. I'm a skinny white dude and After 3 rides in a row, my butt was sore from banging up and down from all the airtime. Are the Arrow trains better? Or are we totally apples and oranges here?

Hell yeah it's wrong, but which story would you rather read: Inattentive Parent Leads to Child Fatality or Roller Coaster Death! It's all about the $$$.

Hi guys. I'm a big fan of your In the Raw DVDs and it got me wondering if you've ever thought of doing a "Total Park Tour DVD" in the same fashion. This would be a dvd where you focus on a single park and show every ride/shop/etc that the park has. I'd would love to have one for Cedar Point, Magic Mountain, etc. Just an idea.

. Patriot at Worlds of Fun for me

It's not really that bad but here's my story: In the summer of 1998, the movie Titanic was still HUGELY popular. We're talking people were going all "beanie baby-crazy" & "hannah montana-crazy" over it. Well, seeing as how Paramount had the rights to the film, of course Kings Island was host to the Titanic Travelling Experience (or something like that). It pretty much amounted to a few rooms with costumes, props & photos from the movie. We happened to visit the park on the last day the show was going to be there. It was also Fourth of July weekend. To this day, my wife and I still agree that it was the most crowded place we have ever been...and not just amusement parks. The most crowded place period. There was actually a wait just to walk down international street. It took us over 5 minutes to make it from end to end of the international fountains. We were at the park for 9 hours and I only managed to ride 4 rides: Wave Swinger, Adventure Express, Lazy River at the Waterpark, and the Flow Rider at the Waterpark. My wife managed to add Flight of Fear to that list, but that's it. We were having to try to have fun and that's when we knew it was a bad day. Funny thing, I distinctly remember that by some miracle, even with all of those people the bathrooms were always walk-ons! Imagine that. As we were leaving, a group of management was by the gates talking. Not being a KI regular, I asked them if it was always this bad. He said it was the most crowded day he had seen in over 10 years there. Of course that's the day we picked to go. But a bad day at the park still beats a great day at work IMO.

^WTF? Easy everybody. I think you guys have me all wrong. If I asked you what your favorite painting was, you'd probably tell me Picasso or Monet. You wouldn't say it was something you did yourself. And you certainly wouldn't try to pass off the Picasso as your own. If you asked my what my favorite coaster pic is, it isn't something that I have taken personally. That's all I was getting at. And I have nothing to gain personally out of all this. I just wanted to look at cool pictures and give away an unused ticket. That's all. But in the spirit of making this contest work, the official rules on the main page have been changed to state that ALL ENTRIES MUST BE YOUR OWN ORIGINAL WORK OR YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.. C'mon fellas. I'm not insisting that anyone try and take credit for anyone else's work. The truth is I don't even care who took the picture. The mentioning of the watermark was just my way of trying to tell everyone I like "clean" pictures without a lot of markup. I just want to see which photos people like the best and give away a free ticket in the process. If someone picks your photo as their favorite, and I choose it as the winner too, take it as a compliment. Don't be mad that you didn't get the prize. If you think you've got the best one, then by all means enter it. Contest rules stand as is. They're not meant to offend. I do. It's just a postage stamp and envelope.
