  1. Strange. I already have all the bathtubs, but I need 3 canteens, 4 giraffe life savers, and the rope for Cleveland. Problem is, I still need 4 ropes for Peter!! I haven't got one in 2 days!!
  2. That explains why I was just visiting towns and getting nothing. I probably filled my quota when I visited some this morning.
  3. I have to agree. The riddles/puzzles from "Number 1" make it a play all day game (at least checking several times a day). Also, the "sacred scrolls" tasks (riddles/puzzles) are interesting as well. So after one full day of playing, I have over 2560 emblems. So getting all the prizes should be quite doable. Satan's Anvil (grand prize) is 35,000 emblems. So everyone should have plenty of time.
  4. I like how this game is a bit different for each player. I still need 4 whips for Peter, yet I already have all the bathtubs for Cleveland. Go figure.
  5. Ok. Did a lot of snooping. This is a large event. All surrounding the Stonecutters. Everything is loaded with the update. Once the building is finished, you get "Number 1". He has a dialogue (pretty funny, with references to The user) with Homer, who then goes on a 4hr task. Once that is completed, the event begins. There are 2 currencies: emblems and sacred parchments. The prizes are mostly Stonecutter skins for a lot of the characters. (You can buy 2 of them: The skin for Dr. Hibbert is 60 donuts, Frink's is 12) There are a couple of static prizes as well, with the grand prize being SATANS ANVIL!!!!! The prizes are shown and listed like the community prizes we've had before, but in this game it's all up to the individual. Evidently, Number 1's games are DAILY, and the tasks associated with those games have to be done by figuring out a riddle from Number 1, and then completing those tasks before midnight (PDT, I assume). Of course, visiting neighbors will be a big part as well. Something about placing spy cameras in neighbors towns, and removing them from your own, or something like that. It's a pretty big event. Runs thru July 2. Looks fairly involved, encouraging a lot of user gameplay. Something really cool too - there ARE a few different story lines. THEY RUN CONCURRENTLY, not one after the other, like previous events. That's what I've found. Hope it helps. Looks good.
  6. I'm guessing he hit 1mil. I'll have 350k later today.
  7. Sounds like the event will be centered around the stonecutters.
  8. I need 2 more guns and 6 ropes for Peter, then going for Cleveland. I am curious though - when the timer expires I the pyramid, does that unlock it for us to explore?
  9. Well, I'm also at level 40 now, and the XP are NOT accumulating so far with this update (or sideshow or whatever).
  10. Ok. Repaired the museum. You get Cleveland, but unlocking him is gonna take time (as well as adventure Peter!)!!
  11. The event just started for me. About an hour after I put everyone on 6 or 8 hr tasks. There is a countdown timer that shows when the event ends (31 days+) I guess I start in the am.
  12. I saw the mention of it on FB. I went straight to the App Store, hit updates, and it showed up. Dunno what to say.
  13. New update is now in the App store! Of course, I've pulled the dreaded "Elissa", and have all my peeps on 8-12hr tasks. Ugh.
  14. I guess I worded some of that wrong. I still have 4 characters to unlock (Stewie, Tom Tucker, Carter Pewterschmidt, Mayor Adam West). The only thing I can figure is that I need to unlock (level up) tasks for characters I already have, before I'm given the tasks to unlock those four characters.
  15. I'm kinda stuck in a do nothing mode - as in there are no required tasks for me. I'm beginning to think that I have to level up each of the characters until tasks that need to be unlocked, before I start getting tasks again. The only characters that I still have tasks to unlock are Tricia, Brian and Meg. So I'm concentrating on them for now. Otherwise, this game got boring quick.
  16. Like bbomser said - once you have ALL the skins, the missions resume. I'm assuming the next person to unlock is Stweie. I still have 6hrs on the Peter task, but Lois' "skank it up" task is pretty funny.
  17. Finally creating mid life crisis Lois. I have all the others, and no tasks to complete. Therefore, I'm guessing that you need her to start the tasks to unlock Stewie. I'm just kinda surprised that Tricia didn't have more tasks to start unlocking the other newscaster. Using the farming methods, I have picked up most of the things you can buy with cash (except the Stewie statue), and have just cracked $100,000.
  18. I need two whips for S&M Lois, two eyeballs for Anime Peter and 6 hats for midlife crisis Lois. Just dumped 23,000 for the last 2 plots of land. (Still have 36,000+) Still need: 10 hats for midlife crisis Lois 2 eyeballs and 2 headbands for Anime Peter (then unlock Tricia).
  19. No. But I did get one on the first cash in on the arcade, then I alternated Lois' jobs between the lipstick (whatever the 10hr job was) and the karate stuff and got another. That's after not getting any in a week!! Now I only need one more, and that finishes off the headbands for Lois and anime Peter. Then Peter and Lois need to fight Connie. Ugh.
  20. No problems here (iPad or iPhone) Just got a small update. The FP (friendship points) are back. Only prize up is a new skin for Lisa "Cool Lisa." And it's 5000 FP.
  21. ^^ & ^, that might be the way to go. IIRC, the event had an ending date of 5/20 (not sure where I saw that). I wanted to get Sherri and Sean, but my patience was wearing thin.
