  1. Spacely's Sprocket Rocket at Six Flags Great America?
  2. I don't know whether to laugh or vomit. Maybe both at the same time.
  3. I don't think this topic is meant to ridicule others' opinions, it is meant to state what you think is the worst park. I don't think anyone has to call each other high: Some people enjoy things that others don't. For example, I find the Lord of the Rings boring while others think it is God's gift to the Earth. It's not my kind of thing, but I can see why others like it. Now, as for the actual topic, I'd say Walt Disney Studios. HOWEVER, I went before construction had even started on the Tower of Terror, so at least there is now one well-themed attraction theme there.
  4. I picked TPR TV for both the reason mentioned by BeemerBoy and the fact that it's not like all it's for is coasters. I know it might sound like a dumb reason, but I'm sticking to it.
  5. Perhaps the switchbacks aren't simple direction changes, but the entire track tilts from horizontal to drop. That's the only way I could fit together the tilt comments and the new layout.
  6. It looks almost like someone's backyard roller coaster to me.
  7. "He's a Pirate" is played in the queue line to Maverick as well. As to why, well that's anyone's guess.
  8. There's one problem: Peeps aren't smart enough to figure out they have to ride the monorail to get to the rides, so your park rating will collapse.
  9. Here's something I made in No Limits a while back. I stopped working on it because of 2 reasons: 1: I was terrible at making custom supports (see 2nd hill). 2: The overall ride wasn't very thrilling after the beginning. Stratosphere.nltrack The ride itself. World's tallest roller coaster. The layout of the ride. The only finished supports. The view from the launch zone.
  10. I've got a question. Did you actually spend your own money on No Limits coaster? If so, why did you just spend $30 to build the world's most boring roller coasters? You would have been better off buying a bucket of paint and watching it dry!
  11. Hmm...seems like you're going to have to fit many rides into a smaller area than your other park! Anyways, looks awesome and realistic!
  12. I know I can lock the spinning on the lift. I just wanted the ride to be more thrilling so I left it unlocked. I'll look into the one car thing and see which one I like. Thanks for the advice!
  13. Yeah, I thought about it. Eventually, the ride would have to stop spinning and eventually settle into a stopped position. Plus, let's just say there's an emergency locking mechanism that would stop the cars from spinning in case of an emergency stop.
  14. Hello! I've decided to do another NL project after the success of my Jolt project. Once again, I've gone with a Maurer Sohne design (by coincidence) to create a spinning coaster called "The Twist". Despite the relavtively small size (65 feet tall, roughly 2,000 feet long), the ride packs quite a punch with a spinning chain lift (the cars are left in the "spinning unlocked position) and a first of it's kind Half-Pipe element. The track release is below along with photos. Once the coaster is done, I will make a video for non-NL users. The Twist.nltrack The Track Half Pipe element (3 90 degree turns in a row) Spinning Chain Lift Layout
  15. The ride looks awesome other than the above mentioned support through the coaster. By the way, what was a photo with the ride already in it? I keep searching, but can't find it!
  16. ^ No, they wouldn't accept that it was their relative's stupidity. They would blame it on the park as the media tends to do. Nobody is willing to accept the consequences of their own actions, because it is much easier to blame someone else.
  17. Actually, he posted a Youtube video of it a while back.
  18. For any other questions, check the Sticky Topic on No Limits.
  19. Thanks for the feedback! Here is the video, sorry for the delay! By the way, I think I am either going to try an Intamin launching coaster similar to Maverick or a woodie similar to the Gravity Group's creations.
  20. What coaster type are you using? With the X-Car type, it gets up to -0.7 g's on the hill and -1 g on the first inversion.
  21. Okay, landscaping is done. I tried to make paths and other things, but couldn't make it look good enough, so scenery is confined to trees. First, the photos! Jolt (Intamin Supports).nltrack The ride. Now, it's your turn to ride! Overbank and the sun. View from across the lake. "GOING DOWN!" Overview of the ride. View from the top of the lift.
  22. No problems! Anyhoo, finished the supports for the ride. It didn't take long as all but 2 hills and a turn are so close to the ground, I just used pre-fab supports. Whoa! The last few hills and the brake run. Bigger hill and turn. Two small bunny hops.
  23. I think the zero-g picture must be misleading because it only has two sets per footer, not three. However, your point is valid for the camel back. Thanks for the input!
  24. Here ya go, as promised! Here's another view from the top of the lift. The 90-degree turn. Zero-G Roll. Low to the ground turn-around! 2nd major camel back. View from the top of the lift.
