  1. ^I wonder where the ticklers are hiding on Vekoma SLCs. They REALLY need to take those off; SLCs are always way too ticklish.
  2. Wow, I didn't know Arrow made the launched looping coaster! I thought Vekoma was the only one that made it... Was African Thunda bought from SFSC too?
  3. Same! Great report, Hanno. I like the new, shiny parts, AND the removal of some trims!
  4. I like the standup! It looks somewhat like Iron Wolf, the way it's close together and has a lonely inversion.
  5. ^The word L 0 CK E R S was said so much in some discussion that Robb got tired of it. He changed the word filter so that when you type it, it says lockers. So lockers = L03KeRz.
  6. Totally agreed! But still, this new tower is looking good! The colors are great (although I personally prefer the lighter orange over the darker); they fit the ride well. I just hope this doesn't have a cable break like the one at KK had.
  7. While I'm still very sad PF is gone, I'm glad that an Intamin Drop Tower will take its place!
  8. I'm glad to hear about all of this expansion. When I visited SFGAm in 2005, we stayed for a little while at HH and we loved it! This expansion will make it even better!
  9. ^Consideration of TPR eventually meeting is an excellent thing! The Blitz isn't bad, but it's a little... I dunno.... cramped. Then again, it does fit a lot into a small space, so there's no complaining there. B:TR Option dos is better; I prefer larger turns when possible.
  10. Summer is really going out with a bang for me. Yesterday, I rode Screamin' Swing at Rocky & Bullwinkles Family Fun Center twice, and today I went to Wild Waves and rode Timberhawk 7 times, Wild thing 4 times, Klondike Goldrusher twice, Timberaxe 3 (or 4) times, and Disk'O 3 times. I did all of the Wild Waves rides in about 3 hours, thanks to the lack of huge lines.
  11. ^^Whoops, I meant djbrcace1234's version. I like it better, if you can get it to fit in your park it would be good. supermanoverview_0.bmp This is the version I meant.
  12. I prefer S:UF Version 2.0. It looks like a better layout, it interacts with the path pretty well, and I prefer the longer braking/transfer section.
  13. Once again with the unsubscribe thing... Even though I'll be sad it's gone, I hope something good replaces PF. Intamin or S&S Launch/Drop Tower would be a good enough replacement.
  14. One more step in the completion of another awesome looking Intamin coaster!
  15. ^Now that you point it out, it really does look like it! V Amen! Michigan's Adventure has a few good rides, but it hasn't gotten a great new one for a while.
  16. It's sad that the Sky Cabin is finally going, but it really didn't look as good as it used to when the parachute drop was still there. I'm glad something new and exiting is taking its place.
  17. Really, what is there to complain about? It's a new ride, it's an awesome ride, it's something not way too many parks have (well, a few have them, but it's not like they're everywhere). I really don't think there's anything to complain about; I can't say I have a park that gets a new attraction very often, let alone an attraction as awesome as this. I'm very exited to see these attractions!
  18. Add a Togo Subs stand. That would be pretty awesome.
  19. If anybody wants 2010 USH or KBF brochures, I got a few today.
  20. Day 2 Part 2 The line for Roaring Creek extends into the station house. Even so, the line doesn't take too long. Panel shot, for my nerdy friends! 2 boats were hiding, too shy to be out on the course today. NOTED! If this ride was in Italy, it would likely be called Colorado River. It should be in Italy, too, because it doesn't get you very wet. Unlike Log Jammer at SFMM, this Arrow Log Flume uses its dual loading station. The operating staff are also pretty effecient, so it serves its purpose well. Panel shot. I remember a few years ago that this water was once really dirty. Now it's clean. Yay! This thing flips from one side to the other to direct the log flumes into the correct station. I wish I could've gotten one of these, even though they cost a lot of $$$. Panic Plunge, Aftershock, and Tremors... a park this size doesn't need much more that those. We're all trying to pose, but we're not doing an exactly 'great' job at it. I think Jessica did the best of us 3. I decide to get one more ride in. The Aftershock plaza is a nice one. It has plenty of places to sit, and has a very rocky feeling to it. But of course, the focal point is the 191 ft tall Vekoma GIB standing there. I still can't get over just how many bolts it takes to hold this ride up, and how big they are! You can tell that the paint is fading and chipping. What is it with this park and hearing aids? Are that many people wearing them? It's a disappering act! Now, you see it... Now... you don't! A train hides somewhere in this mass of supports. Another sign of paint fading/chipping. UPSIDE DOOOWWWNNNN! Is this the only evac platform that remains from SFGAm? ZOOM! My chariot awaits me... It appears to head towards the fence. ZOMG NO LINES! The horn sounds, the floor drops... they pull out backwards... and they speed through the station with fury! Raise your bar if you agree. However, I do agree that this is the best coaster in the Pacific Northwest! Towah of Powah! Loopy loopy loop! If you like inverstions, here's 3 of 'em! Hahaha, it's funny because this park has a roller coaster that's called Aftershock, and it's green too.... NOT! I'd need Hannos camera in order to ever get this shot... What would people at Silverwood know about dolphins? It's a landlocked state! Aftershock "Through the Tremors gift shop window" shot. We decide to get one final ride in. The ride operator has his own lines to say during ride operation! The Vekoma seal-of-quality. Actually, with this ride, there's no sarcasim in that statement! I don't remember the orange seat belt from when it was at SFGAm... I'd stand here to get the shot... but that'd be another 4 or 5 minutes. The twistyest part of the track. Face shot! Sophie and Jessica want to ride Tremors one more time, so we ride too. We also decide to get one more ride in on Panic Plunge before leaving... For some reason, Panic Plunge delivered a LOT more airtime than it ever did before. My camera died after taking this photo, but (thanks to convincing by Jessica and Sophie) I rode the Elephant Ride once and Tiny Toot Coaster once before the park closed. Once again, our 2 days at Silverwood were awesome, and I'd recommend this park to anybody who hasn't gone or has second thoughts about visiting! It's a lot of fun, has great value, and is very clean. I hope that, if you visit Silverwood in the near future, you have as much fun as I did. Thanks for reading!
  21. ^He's also on here, too, you know. I like the look of the new coasters so far! I can't wait to see some more.
  22. When will there be a download for this park? I'm exited for one already.
  23. I'm sure in a few years it's going to be named Goliath. I just know it. Once again, this is a great looking coaster, and every time I look at it I'm reminded of Drachen Fire. I just hope Undertaker doesn't have the terribly short life that DF did, though.
