And it is sounding like this will be the greatest birthday present ever! Visiting one of my most anticipated parks in the U.S. (and for my first ever official TPR event at that), meeting lots of new people, Mindbender, Monster Mansion, Goliath, GASM water challenge, Brandy bringing cake...just WOW. Can't wait!! Can't wait to meet you, Megan! It's my first TPR event, too!

I think this just made my entire day!!! As for the perfect weather for the weekend, I can say I'm going to end up freezing... It's going to be 105 or so all week here, and if it's a high in the 70s, that's a good 30 degree temperture drop from here, not to mention, we're having lows in the 80s. Does anybody know of an outlet mall/real mall not too far from SFoG? Glad I could make your day! Does the fact that I'm now bringing a cake with me to Georgia make it even better?

Well my plans just changed for the better! Danny got a check for the balance of his financial aid on Saturday (surprise money!) and so I just added Friday night to our hotel! Now we don't have to leave Gadsden at 4:00 a.m. on Saturday. Hooray! So now we can be a part of any impromptu Friday night events.

Absolutely no freakin' way would I ever get my butt on that! Me + heights = Terrified to tears! Good thing I'll probably never make it out to California so there's no chance of anyone trying to drag me on it.

I'll be singing "If My Friends Could See Me Now" from Sweet Charity at our theatre's awards show on the 27th. I'm also nominated for Best Actress for my role in Crimes of the Heart. Looking forward to it!

Just booked our room! Since we're only a couple of hours away we're just going to drive over Saturday morning, then stay there Saturday night. Didn't really want to spend the extra $100 for Friday night, too. We'll just have to go to bed early Friday night so we can be up and at 'em super early on Saturday. So flippin' excited!

^ Where did you see it? We just closed our production yesterday. It's always bittersweet. I'm glad to have my life back but I'll miss everyone!

Watched Blue Valentine last night. It was really good. Nothing exciting, and kind of slow-paced, but you really get sucked into this couple's relationship. And that's all it's about is their relationship. I even found myself teary-eyed at times. Definitely a chick flick, but not a sappy romantic comedy by any means.

So hungry now! The pizzas look amazing. Can't wait for more updates! Have fun everyone!

So my high school is doing Thoroughly Modern Millie too, albeit next year, but the majority of the male portion of the theatre company here is NOT looking forward to it. They're angry about how female-focused the show is, and how there are only three male principals, and two of them have to be Asian.. Is there anything I can tell them to get their hopes up for the show? There's four male principals: Jimmy, Trevor, Ching Ho and Bun Foo. Our Asians are not really Asian. Makeup goes a long way! They just have to be willing and able to learn Chinese (and the rental package comes with a pronunciation CD). And you can fill in a male chorus as big or as small as you'd like. There are several chorus numbers where males are needed. Our guys are having a lot of fun. It's an opportunity for guys (and girls) who don't have much stage experience to get their feet wet in the chorus. It's such a high energy show; everyone is really enjoying it! Depending on your choreography (and the dance ability of your guys) there's plenty of opportunities for the guys to shine. And really, there's only three female principals, too, with the rest being hotel girls and stenographers.

Mrs. Meares, does this mean I'll get to meet you finally??? If you'll be there, then yes it does! I've already bought our tickets!

We had an amazing opening weekend for Thoroughly Modern Millie! So excited for this coming weekend! If any of you are within driving distance of Gadsden, Alabama, you should come see me!

I've now got my husband super excited about this! I've been talking it up to him like crazy. We're anxiously awaiting word on hotel prices. And our girls are beside themselves that they finally get to go to Six Flags, and that they get to meet KT and other new friends.
