No you got it all wrong. They have had problems with the audio all year. The park did not do as good as they had hoped they would have. The speakers took a beating last year from kids kicking them and hitting them and the trains not being properly stored during the off season. The reason the fireworks did not go off is because they had a problem with the actual fireworks the weekend before and cancelled them 5 mnutes before the show. The problem was one of the barges sensors went completely out and they had to redo the whole barg which took almost a week and a half. I have insiders in the park so I am kept up on all the going ons in the park. Also look for a huge announcement about rides in next 2 weeks and look for a water flume and lazy river to go in the myrtle beach section and also a flat which has not been revealed to go beside round about where phonehenge used to sit. They are also redoing Monstars of rock totally. They are making it 3d and taking cardboard out from what I was told. So the ride wil once again be good instead of terrible. The reason the shows were not going this weekend is because the ice show was ended last week to let them go and get ready for the winter ice shows that travel. Also CSI was only a one season gig thank god. That was the wosrt show ever. Adrenaline rush will not be back next year. Flip 5 live did not do a show because they were doing concerts on the stage. Flip 5 live and ice cold country will be back next year and the other two shows are being scrapped for newer and better ones so I have been told by a very big person in the park. But also the park may have to take some more loans out because as of this week they have not paid any bills except payroll in the park. They have had 4 lawsuits in 3 weeks against them and they are trying to come up with the money to pay them. If they can make it through the recessio then this park will flourish afterwards.

I have ridden The old Led Zepplin and now named The Time Machine at Hard Rock Park/Freestyle Music Park 578 times last year and now I have ridden it 52 this year. So for a grand total of 630 times I have ridden this B&M. I was at the park every operating day last season but for 3 days. I would go for at least an hour before work every day. I would also go when I had a day off and spend all day on ZEPPLIN. I would ride like 10-20 times on a regular day back to back because the line was no longer than 10 minutes even with preshow. And sometimes they left doors open and it was a straight walk in or station ride through. I loved it like that. It is my home park so I have nothing else to really do on my days off. But this year I have decided since I got married to really spend it with my wife and let her enjoy the park also so now we do everything when we go.

They did the adrenaline rush show today and no others shows. They also did the fireworks tonight. I also met Big Mike and had a blast with him and went and got to see Leann in concert.

Well I am new to the coasterworld and thought it cool as heck to radomly come across a DISNEYWORLD monorail while riding around the boonies in georgia. It is now located in Tyrone Georgia.

I have found the front section of the old disneyworld monorail in a small town in georgia near atlanta while visiting my fiances family. I am attaching pics so you can see.

I got mine 6 days ago the day I got engaged to my fiance. I proposed to her on the lifthill of Goliath at Six Flags over Georgia. She said yes after the brakes.

Even though they have taken out two water rides in two years that will not add a lot more lines to the rapids. The reason I say this is because they have the waterpark now. I mean a lot of families go to to the waterpark and have fun. I know when my family used to take us we would go to waterpark for half the day then go ride some rides. Then we would stay in a hotel bc we would buy cheaper tickets for next day and come back and ride all day. I have a feeling it will be a hyper and I cant wait to ride Carolina Cobra it will be my first boomerang beside Deja Vu at SFOG.

Of course Myrtle Beach can sustain a park--just not (apparently) an expensive one. But the Pavillion did okay. So, logically, if a new owner buys the park for much less than it cost to build, they don't need to charge as much and/or have as many visitors to make a profit. /This might actually be the only way for Myrtle Beach to sustain a park that big. Living down here for the last 3 years I completely agree. I love the park just because it is my home park. But if they dont have low prices then they wont get any business. And when i worked at family kingdom and at some hotels nobody had even heard of the park and I would tell them about it. It needs to be better advertised like on all the signs for hard rock park put where it is. I mean if you are on 95 going north you see hard rock park signs but it never said where it was. So tourists didnt know where to look.

Well If they drop their adult prics to 20 and their kids prices to 12 for kids 10 and under I think they will make a lot more money than they did this past summer. But I do not think they should sell season passes yet. The reason for this is because they wont make no money at all. Because all of us that lived in myrtle beach went and got passes and we were the only ones to visit. If they drop the prices then they can compete with family kingdom. One thing I hope they do is a contest to rename the rides. If 2009 goes well then they should be able to add a lot more to the old mall site for 2010. Did you know hard rock park has a log flume in storage about 5 miles away. They were supposed to put it up but never had time and were waiting for 2009. Then the money ran out. Yes to both of those. The city of myrtle beach had thier shuttles that go around town add a line that goes out to Hard Rock. The cost was 3 dollars one way. The only problem is the last shuttle to leave the park was at 8:30 so not many people could stay after that unless they paid for a cab. And they have the whole old waccamaw part to use for a waterpark if they wanted. I would end up flattening all of that though and making it the parking lot while making the now parking lot into the waterpark. They could buy some trolleys and use that to get people from the parking lot to the park.
