I just don't see KD paying the extra money for the big track when the current track size works great for a 240 foot coaster. Now if it were like Maverick and it had a lift at the beginning and a launch mid ride which took it to the 90 mph mark, then it could be possible. However I don't see that happening.

I'm with you on Mantis. I like it better than most of the coasters at CP (basically only Maverick and Magnum are better). And by the way, I think you sat in the ejector seat on Magnum. It REALLY lives up to its name.

It's all because of the figure eight course. It almost never looks like red is winning until after the final turn.

From the looks of the Midwest trip, they already have one of those called "Hotel Breakers". Ha Ha. Very funny.

The bugs this year have been especially bad. Normally most of them would of been gone by now. Thats why Mayflies aren't called Julyflies.

The Spider's are finally tired of Mantis being the big bug on the block.

I highly doubt it is for halloween because Terror Island was easially put on Millennium Island last year with no clearing and it was not even near the clearing.

Its possible they will build in and around Cedar Creek Mine Ride, much like they did with El Toro.

Those are sweet. I never knew that Calypso at Cedar Point had roofs on the cars or was even on the main midway.

I was just at SFA and it wasn't as bad as I expected. The worst part was Superman being closed . Two things still amaze me about that park: One is how much worse Batwing is compaired to Firehawk, and two that Mind Eraser was my favorite ride in the park.

How are the lines typically on a Sunday in July?

Mean Streak will only be the most exciting coaster at CP when it is the only one left

^I thought SOB was actually smoother than Mean Streak this season. MS killed my back when I went on it earlier in the year and SOB didn't.

Is Great Adventure usually this busy on a weekday?
