Millenium Force and Mantis
MASH80554077 replied to MASH80554077's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I don't get this. Why do you people want to wait in line for 2 hours to go up high, ride a great drop, black out and then get minimal airtime. You know your allowed to not shove to stand up seat right up your balls. Give yourself a few free inches and everything becomes smooth and comfortable. I mean I love some Intamins but its just too intense, I just want some airtime/hangtime, strong but not overly intense forces, and some interesting elements. I dont want to get cerushed into obliion! -

By painful I mean forceful to the point it gave me a mild headache for like 5 minutes. -
Millenium Force and Mantis

I am only comparing the two cause MF is supposed to be amazing and Mantis was supposed to suck but it turned out to be the opposite. The hill after the first drop is steep. I think that just killed the rest of the ride. Dragster was fun but I worry about coasters getting any taller, and if it will even be any fun to ride them -
When I was at Cedar Point 3 days ago I rode Mantis and Millenium Force. Millenium Force was terrible. I hated the Crushing G's and ZERO airtime. Great first drop but after that...It's pure pain and torture. Just to intense to enjoy. Howeve, Mantis was amazing. The only reazon it is "rough" is because people ride it like a sit-down-on-a-bicycle-seat ride and not a stand up. Get your lazy butts out of the seat and youll actually appreciate that ride like your suppose to. I rode it both ways, in the back, and it was a great ride when you actually stand up.

^^ Thanks. I already take a multi-vitamin that gives me more than 100% of the B-12 needed and most of the other main vitamins, but no Iron. I also am pretty good with my protein intake, Drinking 2 or three servings of milk, and protein water instead of juice or soda. The rest is usually covered by the rest of the things I normally eat, but I had been on vacation for a few days(no vitamins, and I get a little lazy about the milk and protein intake) so that might have been it. Does that sound about right?

Post your milestone coasters
MASH80554077 replied to bgwfreak's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
O poop. I just realized that due to a Credit Snafu my 50th credit was not Millenium Force( Which I thought was too forceful to properly enjoy after the drop) but was actually mean streak, my least favorite woodie and maybe least favorite coaster! -
Last year when I was 13 I could ride anything. Now this year, Wicked Twister(never rode before) made me sick, when I go up-side down I get funny shiny spots ninety % of the time and I feel like im gonna black out more. I recently became a vegetarian, could this have anything to do with it. Please help, fahrenheit made me feel totally confused and overloaded with G's but it didnt the first time! I am worried about my roller coaster future!

Surprise crotch buster
MASH80554077 replied to Rollerman87's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I rode Mantis yesterday. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL! It had the perfect amount of forces....Intense but not to the point of pain. It was also butter smooth, quite the surprise after hearing all these bad LIES about it. O and I am a guy. My brother and I both loved it. -
Im going to Cedar Point on the 18th and 19th. Im going to leave the Hotel Breakers to get to the park for early admission at 8:30. I think ill get there at 8:35 to get in lne and buy tickets. Can I buy tickets by myself if i am only 14? Do I need a parent? Will 8:30 be early enough to get there for early opening? Can I buy tickets at the hotel or do I need to get them at the park? Thanks in advance!

Ehhh I've been on Storm Runner and Kingda ka.... Launched coasters are old news. -
Im going to ride Mantis at Cedar Point in a week and I am a little apprehensive about riding Mantis. Is riding a stand up really that different than anything else. I hear the seats can put pressure in some....un comfortable places. i Love B&Ms but Im just worried about stand ups. Is it true people black out more on them. Is it also true that you can fall otu of your seat and restrain if you black out. Can anyone tell me about the safety records about stand ups? Im sorry if this was posted already but I searched it and it came up negative.

Thanks for the help. From personal experiene it has always seemed wild-mouse like coasters have terrible capacity. Im glad to hear I can get everything in in 2 days. Just out of cuiosity how long will the average wait be for a coaster. Will it be like 2 hours for everything. Alot of the TR make it seem like it and I really dont want to wait in lines THAT huge for 2 whole days.

I'm not really sure where this goes since this forum is sooo confusing. I put up a thread and people immediately tell me its already up search before you post. I then do it and find nothing Nothing and i Still manage to get in trouble or get told to look at the posting rules. then I use a non descriptive title in one of my posts and i get in trouble immediately. then i use the right one and nobody gives me any answers to my question because it isn't interesting enough AND I NEED HELP! I don't get it. i really am beginning to get frustrated with the people on this forum. i love roller coasters and want to talk about them. Why is this so hard.

Ok is it just me or was that woman on the video overreacting. I don't think she was injured..... it may have been very uncomfortable but i guarantee you, it did not injure her. She also acted like being stuck upside down for 10 minutes was so terrible and that it was a crisis that the pakr let this happen. I mean it seems a little ridiculous.

I am going to Cedar Point in August on a Sunday and a Monday on the 17th and 18th I am staying on an onsite hotel so I get the extra hour. I think I have a plan but im not sure it'll work. Could I have feedback form CP veterans? Im going to hit Maverick during the first days extra hour and then rush to TTD to get in line before the General Public. I then would ride that and work my way around the park. On day 2 I am planning on doing MF during the extra hour and then going to wildcat since it has terrible capacity. I would then just work around the park doing what I couldnt do the first day and redo the stuff I liked....obviously. Will I be Able to do all the rides in the 2 days, excluding jr. Gemini. What will have the biggest lines and which ones never have lines. Also how early should i get to the park so that I can get in as soon as park guests can? When will a line begin to form outside the gate? Thanks for any help!
