  1. Wildwood has 6 roller coasters... I also don't see the point of this thread.
  2. I ordered tons of Coaster Dynamix parts from ModelRollerCoasterHQ.com including a Scorpion set and an expansion pack, two types of trains and extra rails and connectors. I also ordered a 4 foot lift track. I disn't got it the first time and after asking for another one it was sent but bent in half from shipping. It was shipped in a flimsy carboard box. It wasnt shipped in any protective tubes or anything. We emailed them but still have not gotten a replacement and when we reported it to UPS they simply mailed the broken piece back. Does anyone have this companies Phone number since e-mailing them through their site is clearly not enough. Thanks for any help.
  3. I always liked Scream!'s paint job, even though it is a little random. Fahrenheit also has a really cool temperature paint theme. I also always liked the shine on Great Bear's trains and the three different colored trains on Raging Bull.
  4. I stopped taking the medication I was taking and it worked! Thanks alot I dont even get the little spots in my eyes at all now, let alone black out:)
  5. Oh yeah, I always eat a big breakfast and drink after almost every ride. I also eat big lunches and dinners and eat little side meals in between coasters.
  6. So i'm sorry if this is too similar to another post. I searched it and similar things came up, but this one is a little more specific. I have been riding roller coasters for three years now. I rode everything at SFGADV my first year with no problem. My second year there were a couple of spots on some things and now I grey out on Nitro and feel lightheaded through whole rides and I feel right on the edge of passing out. I can barely handle any positive G's. Some possible things that could be causing this -I'm pretty skinny and tall, 130lbs and 5 foot 10.5 inches -I'm a vegetarian(maybe I don't eat enough of the right things?) -I take medicine that also suppresses appetite(don't eat enough?) I just want a straight answer and I have never gotten one from doctors or anyone. I always drink plenty and eat plenty at parks but the sustained G's are still causing head aches and grey outs and spots in inversion. Please help. Have any other vegetarians had this problem. Also I'm a teenager so maybe something physical has changed? Any help would be really really appreciated.
  7. Do you mean the steel structure built over the break run? If so, it is just a head chopper for when the ride rised to the break run. It is very effective though
  8. ^ *GASP* Thats like the first time ive ever heard someone say that!
  9. On my first stand up(Mantis) I looked at it and quite quickly realized sitting would cause PAIN. I was actually smart enough not to let the attendant SLAM the seat into my crotch. I think the old stand-ups like Iron Wolf, or any TOGO stand up, give all stand ups a bad name.
  10. I always thought of Flyers as a fairly new concept. I guess theyre not really new anymore. Just out of curiosity, does anyone think the Floorless coasters or Dive Machines will just be fads too?
  11. I always wondered if you could do like a Dive Machine, only stand up....
  12. Well just because a company offers them doesn't mean theyre jumping to build them. I miss the good stand ups like scorcher or riddler. So don't go throwing a fit. Wolf was their first coaster. It really stunk. Their later ones were great. I don't want more wolves. I want scorchers and riddlers, maybe even a Mantis or 2
  13. Once I thought of a floorless stand up....After a few seconds I realized the full ramifications of this idea.
  14. Well Intamin doesn't even have Stand-ups on their site anymore so I know theyre out of it. I think a stand up is more technical and innovative to the GP than say a floorless. I really think B&M finally perfected the stand up. I would love to see a new one.
  15. You mean like coasters built by japanese companys like TOGO or just coasters built in japan?
  16. So about the stand up coaster. Why does nobody make them anymore? Would B&M even make one if someone asked for one? Whats the deal with them at this point in time?
  17. My clear winner is Hades. It was just amazing. My least favorite is Loch Ness Monster, it goes through so slow that the spinning makes me nauseous
  18. I supposse that sounds plausible, but if theres and earthquake, won't thw bigger problem be picking up the pieces of the coaster since anything big enough to interupt the coasters circuit could problably take down the coaster?
  19. ^ I totally agree. My brother and I both gave ourself a little crotch room and they kept tellling us stand up straight, if you don't move they really could care less. If it was a safety issue they would problably tell you to quit it and stand up straingt.
  20. Why do all japanese coasters have full catwalks? I thought it was only TOGO but when I saw Steel Dragon 2000 had them so I figured it was required by japanese law or something... Anyway, why dont they just put valleying platforms at the low points? I think they make the coasters look ugly and sorta awkward. Anywany, can anyone talk about this?
  21. The other ones? last time I heard there were only two....
  22. I'm gonna call Steel Hawgs drop a drop. I think that drops should be categorized as conventional and non-conventional. SH has a non-conventional drop since it is braked. I think that a drop without any breaks is a conventional drop. Now when you watch a coaster go over an inversion(it is really easy to see on inverts) you can look at the track and the cars and see that for a split second, on most coasters, there is some complete up-side-down-ness. I think a Cobra Roll that is supposed to be a Cobra Roll, but doesn't completely go up-side-down should be called two inversions anyway, because the element is design to be a Cobra Roll. Therefore the park and designers wanted the element to be an inversion.
  23. Alright I mave have over-exadgerated just a little. MF is not that painful, I just like airtime as opposed to positive G-forces. I just don't personally didn't like it. I was looking forward to it though, I REALLY wanted to like it People just made Mantis seem so terrible so the fact that it didn't crush my balls and that it was actually really fun, surprised me greatly .
  24. Im getting out of PETA. This is ridiculous, the animals cant survive in the wild. Retire the Clydesdales? I'm a horse rider, those horses are pampered beyond belief and EXTREMELY healthy. Go free some race horses PETA, and get out of our hair!
  25. Im a member of PETA.....I want to defend that decision by saying theyre the ony game in town and I'm a vegetarian so....what else am I gonna join and make hippy friends?
