TPR's Ever Evolving Park Index
larrygator replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Garet, I'll add any (Non-kiddie) ride that exists to the index. A few years ago, when I had more free time, I went through every major park's website (or map if I had one) and cross checked all the existing rides with the one listed in TPR's Park Index. Since that time I have tried to keep take of any new rides as they are announced (In my "What's New for 20__?" threads). However, not all park's make formal announcements and many of the foreign park non-coaster announcements (especially in Asia) are never reported to TPR. So it is only natural that some rides are missing because I don't know about them. I'm sure the Park Index also has a lot of rides listed as open that have been removed. -
TPR's Ever Evolving Park Index

Keep up the good work, I've gotten photos of almost all the new 2015 rides in the US Please submit only your own photos. Do not take them from another person or website. If you make a submission through the Park Index. You can post your photos of any size in this thread Or you can use the submission tool in the Park Index, but in that case please resize your photos to 800x600 or smaller before submitting, otherwise they are difficult for me to review and place in the Park Index. Or if you have any of those photos already in a PTR just send me a PM and let me know. If you have photos of a non-kiddie ride that is not in TPR's Park Index, please submit that also. The list of what we need is not complete, only based on rides that appear on my personal park maps. High quality photos, please (not blurry, distorted or out of focus). -
Playland's Castaway Cove Discussion Thread

I will immediately become the best coaster on the Jersey Shore. Looks fun, I hope that it will be comparable to Sky Rocket since I love Sky Rocket. -
I looked and the literal only new thing i saw was a 10ft ladder leaning against the grandstand. The ladder was lying on the ground against the Grandstand today. It appeared to be a 12 foot ladder from the Skyride, but it is hard to tell from that far away. Look between the trees to find the orange ladder at the base of the grandstand

I realize you took some grief form others about some of your posts but I did laugh at this typo. I could understand how going through a slash area on a water slide would cause pain. -

No problem with this approach especially if you want to explore the park at a leisurely pace your first time. The tickets are actually a good deal if you don't plan to marathon ride. -
The forecast is clear and hot (high of 90) and there is a Slurpee ERT and also a job fair. Weekend days typically tend to be more crowded (lately seems like Sundays have been worse than Saturdays for some reason), but if you are proactive, get to the park before opening and head right to El Toro, enjoy some morning re-rides since it tends to not get a line for the first hour or so, then if it starts to feel crowded, head over to FP HQs and have yourself a six flags day! IMHO - perfect advice

Other must do ride: Skooters (Bumper Cars), Downdraft, Stratofear, Flyers, Looper, Cosmotron, Carousel you have probably not experienced any of these rides before and if you have not in the form they run them at Knoebels. You will get tons of opinions on the food not to miss, for me the one item I never skip is the Fried Cheese on a Stick at Totem Treats. Backpack friendly, paid storage facilities are not available. -

How would they be able to even get that information? License plates? Im assuming debit/credit card transitions But that wouldnt count the large % that pay cash. It's called an estimate. Unless there is reason to believe someone from Michigan is significantly more likely (or less likely) to use cash. -

Maybe Orange County Choppers is creating a custom bike for the park, since that is what the company does. -

You know you're a Six Flags park if...
larrygator replied to coasterdude5's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This is not the case at all Six Flags parks, some of them have quite extensive flat ride packages.
